So pleased we chose this hostel. Comfortable, fantastic heaters in the room for the Peruvian winter nights. Friendly, helpful staff, great breakfasts and coffee and tea available all day. All this as well as great views over Cusco. Corihuasi is located up a fairly steep hill just a short walk from the city square and might be a struggle if... More

I spent 3 nights with my wife. Room very spacious and very clean; One american block from plaza de Armas, Friendly staff with lot of recommendations about what to see in Cuzco. They hire a tavi for us to go to Maras and Salinas. Delicious Breakfast and they have storage available.

My partner and I spent a number of nights in Hostal Corihuasi and absolutely loved it there. Friendly staff, who gave us some great recommendations, good breakfast (with a great view), great location to the main square, restaurants, shops and laundry services. We stayed in a double room (believe it was #1 or #20) With a panoramic view of Cusco.... More

This hostal offers basic accommodations near the Plaza de Armis in Cusco. It is a hike uphill from the Cathedral to the hostal, not any easier at 10,000+ feet, but the walk is good training for touring the in the Sacred Valley. The rooms are basic, the breakfast is substantial.

We were very pleased with our 2 nights at Hostal Corihuasi! The workers were always helpful when asked about great places to go in the city. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They also made sure to give us coca tea as soon as we arrived to help us acclimatize to the high altitude. The breakfasts were... More

Ha located 2 blocks from the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, but is in a mega climb, and the soroche gets worse! The staff very attentive reception of one of the employees already lived in Brazil... More

This is my second stay with Corihuasi and their service has been consistently stellar. It is one of the older establishments, and with that comes the creaks and squeeks. They make up for it with luxurious beddings, a warm space heater and a panoramic view from Room #1. Breakfast is a hearty continental with eggs prepared to your liking. Centrally... More

Corihuasi is an excellent choice for Cuzco. To be frank, Cuzso is not my favorite city in South America, because it has become mainly a very touristy way-station for day trips to Machu Picchu. That said, it is worth spending at least a day day or a couple of days, and the view at Hostal Corihuasi is wonderful as well... More

I stayed at the Hostal Corihuasi for three and a half weeks while I was in Cusco at the end of March to the middle of April of 2014. This hostal has a unique personality and layout. The personnel was marvelous and very caring. When I was sick for two days they treated me as if I were family. They... More
