I usually stay in Casa Andina Hotels (where available), this is the first time I stay at Casa Andina in Cusco (Catedral venue). I was, I guess spoiled, with the excellent level of attention and detail in this national hotel chain, until now. No gracious welcome, no help with bags, people too busy filling out business forms, no eye contact.... More

Great location, a minutes walk to the Plaza de Armas. Staff polite and friendly. Rooms were clean warm. Bathroom basic, with basic shower over bath, in which the water can should. Beds very comfortable and clean. The room had a traditional feel to it. Please do not get room (227), as it is next to the designated smoking area and... More

We had told our tour operator, Imagine Latin America, we liked to stay in funky boutique hotels ideally located in the old part of town and this hotel was certainly in a great location, just steps away from the main square. In common with many hotels in Cuzco, the original building had been repurposed. The carpet in the corridor was... More

I recently stayed at the Casa Andina Catedral for a few nights before and after my Macchu Picchu visit. I selected this hotel since I have stayed in many Casa Andina hotels on previous visits to Peru and have always found the service to be excellent. I chose this hotel of the Casa Andina collect because of its location -... More

This completely worn out hotel is the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel in any country. We stayed in a double room which was OK for a low category hotel - 2 star it schould be not 3 stars. However the floor in our room but also all floors in the corridor were so old and worn... More

Similar to other reviewers, I stayed here 2 nights prior to Macchu Picchu and 2 nights afterwards. I had a basic room 224 on the first occasion and a larger room (3 beds) 309 on the second occasion. Check in and check out were brilliant and the staff were extremely helpful. The coca tea did help me with altitude sickness... More

We stayed here two nights. I should begin by saying that the service is great and the beds are comfortable. And the location is great - just off the main square.Night one, we were in an interior room with no window to the outside. There was a window to the hallway, but we were not comfortable leaving it open. Hard... More

I stayed in this hotel for two nights before continuing to Machu picchu. I really liked the place, it was very clean and the staff very attentive. The location is perfect, right besides the main square, and near many good restaurants.

Stayed here for 3 nights pre-Machu Picchu and another night post-Machu Picchu. We were very happy with this hotel - the location was PERFECT! Literally a few steps away from the town square and lots of restaurants nearby. Everything was within walking distance, which is important if you're trying to acclimate to the higher altitude. Beds were really comfy and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights & then another one after visiting Machu Picchu. It is in an excellent location and after complaining we obtained a large room. The breakfast was better than expected, but this hotel does not have any outside sitting spaces or comfortable lounges. Knowing what I now know, and with price no an issue. I would... More
