On our recent trip o Peru, we stayed in five different hotels. By far, cusco Catedral deserves recognition. Their staff, whether desk, security, housekeeping or servers are attentive, polite, and helpful beyond what is asked. We stayed three nights. Breakfast is fresh and good. Location is center of Cusco. Rooms are modern with very comfortable beds, a heater and good... More

The hotel is very conveniently located in the middle of cusco city. It is in Plaza de armas . The hotel staff is very friendly. Rooms are cozy. We stayed for three nights. The breakfast was great. The hotel is surrounded by good peruvian restaurants.

We stayed at this hotel 17th May for four days to get used to the altitude before going on the Inca Trail, also for two nights after we did the trail, the hotel and staff were really good great location for everywhere, you are only about 10 minutes from the square where all the action happens it's great just to sit up on... Very conveniently located in the middle of the old part of Cuzco. The rooms are very basic. The staff is helpful, nice, breakfast is the usual foods and is fine. Wifi is slow, as it is in most of the places we stayed. It has no elevator, but the staff will help carry bags.

We were spending 2 nights in Cusco and therefore we chose a hotel that was more basic and budget friendly whilst still being in a good location. After checking in, we were told that we had gotten the best room in the hotel. It wasn't a 5 star luxury room but it was very spacious, clean, comfortable and more than... More

This is a really great 3 star hotel in the centre of Cusco. It's clean and comfortable and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is complimentary, it's nothing over the top but if you like eggs and toast then it's great. The location is great, just walk out the door and you're steps away from the cathedrals, the... This hotel was clean and comfortable for a pre and post trek stay. If your looking for a 5 star resort this is not for you. With its relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff I felt like it fit the Cuzco culture perfectly. The location is ideal, and breakfast small but adequate. While there are not many extra amenities or 'pillow... More

I tossed up whether to give this hotel 3 or 4 stars, as the location was excellent, and I was there for three nights in total and had no dramas. The 3 stars probably won out as I had two twin beds rather than a queen or king, and I do like to stretch out. Also, the bathroom, while functional... More

Pluses: Great location (behind the corner from the main square). Very good service (reception) Clean room. Minuses: No charm (ordinary). Used furniture in the room. No place to put your clothes. My double room (number 309) had only a window to the hall. As a result there was no fresh air, no view and the room smelled of old carpet!... More

Was through Cusco before and after our Inca Trail hike, wanted something that was pretty cost effective but nice, in a good central location. This hotel fit the bill perfectly, a block from Plaza De Armas, just at the bottom of San Blas. Nice rooms, free breakfast, good price, all in all just what we needed.
