hotel was cute, clean, and professional. However, the staff I was not pleased with. They do not communicate with you fulling on how much something will cost, like making a local phone call, then tell you the full price is more and do not even apologize for the miss communication. I was told 3 different answers for the same question:... More

We got the tip from our travel agency to stay in the hotel. We enjoyed the service, the room and the location. Near to very good restaurants and the town center, it is a very good choice for couples and families. I was really surprised with all the facilities.

We stayed here for a total of 4 nights on two separate occasions during our visit to Peru in September and October, 2014. The hotel has some lovely patio areas in the open air where it is quiet and sunny. There are several pleasant seating areas around the hotel too. We had 2 different rooms, both of which were quiet.... More

A very nice hotel, charming layout. no restaurant just a breakfast room. Only three short blocks from the main plaza and surrounded by history. Very friendly staff and low key not in your face at all.

The staff was great and the room was nice. The heater was good once we found the right setting. There are no instructions so it is trial and error. We heard people talking from the next room and finally figured out there was a little window in the bathroom, where the pipes were, that was open. We closed that and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in June – 2 prior to going to Machu Picchu and 1 on our return. I consider it a solid 3-star hotel. Rooms were basic and a bit dated, however everything was immaculately clean and worked well. It was one of the noisier hotels we stayed in while in Peru but that could be... More

My daughter and I stayed here both before and after we did the 4 day trek to Macchu Piccu. Unfortunately, the staff were very unhelpful. When we requested a packed breakfast to take with us the next morning at 4.15, they treated us like beings from outer space. Also, when we returned from our trek, although we arrived an hour... More

We stayed here for 2 nights when we arrived in Cusco, then left our bags and went to Machu Pichu, then stayed one more night on the way to Puerto Maldonado. Very convenient location within 5mins walk of the central plaza. Staff were very helpful, and free coca tea was provided which really helped with altitude sickness. Our first room... More

Try and get the downstairs room, it was better than one off the common kitchen above, which is noisy, with wooden floors and stairs. Breakfast a bit basic. The location is a walk to everywhere in Cusco and there is a nice little cafe next door where you can sample guinea pig and al paca!

The Casa Andina Koricancha was situated nicely near the center of Cusco, and was very convenient for strolling through the city. The staff was good, and the hotel was clean and somewhat charming. Included breakfast was poor, and the rooms were very basic. I'd consider this a middle-of-the-road accommodation.
