We booked our trip through a travel agency in Lima. We checked all reviews and requested to stay at the Casa Andina Plaza de Armas. The travel agency messed up our reservation and booked us a room at Casa Andina Koricancha. After a lot of back and forth with the travel agency (more than 2 hours) the Casa Andina management... We were booked into the Korichancha by our tour agency as part of a Macchu Picchu trek. The hotel is centrally located, an easy walk to the main plaza and close to lots of shopping. The breakfast was basic, but tasty, the front desk was helpful and spoke excellent English, and the rooms were simple and clean. The layout of... More

I stayed one night here for work on 2nd August. Room fine (although dark). Problem arose because room was pre-paid; when we went to check out, staff member insisted I needed to pay for the room on my credit card. Taxi was outside holding up traffic (no parking), I explained it was pre-paid, but she insisted. I called my office... More

Sadly by the time I got to Casa Andina Korikancha, I was tired, sick and in pain from hiking the Inca trail. I stayed in 3 hotels in Peru prior to my final destination of Casa Andina Korikancha. The hotel sadly did not have an elevator that accessed my room. This usually doesn't bother me, but after having hiked the... More

Located on a busy one way cobbled street, the hotel is not new but fairly well kept. We were well welcomed on arrival and shown to our room. We were on the ground floor with a room at opened out to a courtyard. Room was oldish but extremely large, older bathroom but adequate, comfortable bed and plenty of room to... More

Relaxing hotel in a bylane in Cusco. It was booked by my wonderful travel agency and I found it central. well connected and comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly and very concerned for my welfare as a single traveller.

Casa Andina Koricancha is a great place to stay in Cusco -- I have stayed there twice now. It is well located near the Plaza de Armas. Rooms are well-appointed and clean. The balconies over San Augustin are fun for watching the world pass by below. And the staff are professional and very helpful. However, the cost of a room... More

The hotel is in a narrow one-way street; getting in/out of a car blocks all traffic until you and your luggage are in/out. The hotel is an old building that may have been a house. Our first room had one other above it and the insulation and floors are old and rather poor: we could hear every footstep above our... More

This hotel is in a great location to explore Cuzco. On arrival, be aware that there is no parking or even a drop off / pick up area, so be ready for fast exits and boarding in vehicles stopping and holding up traffic. Also be prepared to get any one of a large range of rooms - most with minimal... More

We had a 2 night stay in May as part of a "flashpacking" Chimu Adventures tour and this hotel was in a great location within walking distance to all the sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was small but clean and comfortable which suites us, [as we did not come to Cusco to sit in... More
