Fantastic staff, starting with manager Russell Lawler, concierge Luis, my special thanks to them being so helpful while my wife was suffering a severe high altitude sickness!!!! The location can not be more central, few steps from the central square!!! The hotel by itself is very cosy with beautiful layout, especially impressed by the inner court!!!!

This was my first time in Cusco. I arrived from NY in the morning and after a short wait, they were able to get me into a room. During the wait, they served me mate de coco for the altitude and did my check-in while seated there. That was really a nice touch for a very tired traveler. The bed... More

Location is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to Plaza de Armes, but far enough so that the street level noise was non-existent. A supermarket is just down the block, across the street. But if you're really adventurous, try the Mercado Central de San Pedro, which is just 200 feet further. This enclosed market is the size of 3... More

Terra Andina is an excellent option for visitors to Cusco. Great location within a block of Calle Santa Clara with a grocery store a few doors down (excellent for picking up last minute needs before that Andes hike). The hotel is only rated at a 3 star but the service and accommodations are closer to a 4. After staying in... More

We had a very warm welcome into this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly!! We had a wonderful room--think we must have been upgraded to a suite. Huge, comfortable bed and lots of room. We had a TV but only found one channel (cnn news) that was in English. There was a small fridge in the room with... More

We stayed at the hotel twice and both times rooms were a good size and very comfortable with fantastic bathrooms, robes and huge fluffy white towels. Felt as though we were coming home after being away hiking as the staff were so friendly and helpful. Great breakfasts too. Location was really good - able to walk everywhere. Would highly recommend.... More

The hotel was very clean and the water was hot. It has a colonial charm and the staff was very helpful. It is within walking distance of the main plaza. The breakfast was excellent. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. We stayed twice in two different rooms. Neither had a window but we were out of the room most of... More

Pros-good location and close to local markets and restaurants. Staff are wonderful and attentive. Cons-not sure what pictures of rooms were used? Our room clearly did not reflect what was advertised. Very dated and smelled that way. Our room faced the outside road and was very noisy with traffic as there were only wooden shutters between us and the road.... More

The staff could not have been more helpful or attentive! We were upgraded to a superior room that was huge and the bathroom was a delight! The breakfast was varied with an option of made to order omelets. It's a 10 minute walk to the main plaza but after staying at a hotel that was closer, you will be grateful... More

Upside: good location, 15-20 mins walk into historic centre/ main plaza. Upside: good breakfast though not varied much over 8 days. Upside: Good sized superior room with v comfy bed Downside: Bath a great size if you're a child or baby Downside: Tour offered by hotel that the vast majority of guests want (Macchu Picchu) was $172 each dearer than...
