Visited Cusco and Machu Picchu in early June 2009. The hotel and its staff is one of the bright points of our visit to Peru. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. There was a very nice flat screen TV with cable television (channels mostly in Spanish, but many English channels, also). Our bags were temporarily lost by the airline,... more

Upon arrival we were given some mate de coca which was delish. Fernando the travel agent with the hotel made all my arrangements for my bus and tickets to Machu Picchu, he was very helpful. All of the staff were very attentive to any and all of our needs. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent with a wide... more

This hotel is located at 5 minutes walk from "Plaza de Armas", which is quite nice and has a lot of friendly bellboys. The hotel receptionists kindly provided good and useful suggestions for our trip, too! more

Had a great stay here while in Cusco. The rooms are not huge, but they are comfortable. Beds are very comfortable and bathroom has a whirlpool tub. There is some amount of road noise from Calle Union but no more than you would expect staying in the city. The staff was absolutely great! We had split the trip between Cusco... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff made us feel welcome and provided very personalized service and were very helpful. The travel agent for the hotel was a bit pricey but well worth it. The location is pretty much ideal. it is only a short walk to the main square but far enough away to provide some tranquility. We would... more

The hotel was centrally-located on a quiet street off one of the town squares and only a five minute walk to Plaza des Armas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and even arranged a last-minute excursion to the Sacred Valley with an expert guide. My only problems were minor. Some of the restaurant food, while nicely plated, was bland... more

Very attentive and helpful staff. My room was small, but very comfortable - wonderful bed linens and mattress - and quiet, and the restaurant was very good. I had worried a bit that it was so near to the market, which the guide book said was not a safe area. But those fears were completely unfounded, certainly in the day... more
