We started at Ecopackers next door which wanted 150sl for a private ensuite, we went next door to this place and found a bigger room with 2 beds for 65sl. The room was very clean, updated bathrooms, and had very hot water (just ask reception to turn it on). The train was noisey when it went by but im sure... More

I selected Los Caminantes more for the location than anything else. Because I hike up to Machu Picchu, this hotel is perfect because it is one of the closest ones to the Puente Ruinas bridge to the hiking path. The family that owns the hostel is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and bright (if you have one... More

Had a private room (twin beds) with a bathroom. The room and bathroom was clean and so were the sheets and towels. It was a dark room so the lights were needed at all times. Window overlooked the railway track but could be closed (not great curtains). Not too noisy unless a train was going past. Hot water was lukewarm.... More

very clean, safe, hot showers... yes! the staff was very helpful and friendly... juana and elvis in the reception were a great help, use the showers on the first floor, more water pressure and is an electric heater better than the second floor with a gas heater... close to everything(of course, is a small town) and great price... can't complain.

When we arrived at the station there was nobody waiting for us as they said to us. The room and the bathroom were dirties. Wi-fi was available just in the reception. The only not bad thing is that it's located near the station.

I would definitively recommend this place when staying in Aguas Calientes. It is very central, close to market, main square, pubs, restaurants, bus and train station. The place is very spartan and austere - no decorations or details; but clean! We asked for a double room and we got a three beds one with windows: cleaned room, large and confortable... More

After a week of cold showers in Cusco, hot showers at this price of hostel were very, very welcome. The pillows were so fluffy, too, and that was a change from flat, small pillows in Cusco. The train is very loud at night, but I think that's par for the course in Aguascalientes. We were met at the train station... More

As our 10:45 p.m. train arrived a member of the staff was waiting for us with our parties name on a dry-erase board. This was a delicate touch I was not expecting from one of the least expensive hotels in Aguas Calientes. The woman at the front desk was also extremely helpful with MachuPicchu advice. While the early morning train... More

This is one of the cheapest places in town, and the amenities are commensurate. However, the place is generally clean and the service is good. I'd stay here again. (I'm not so sure that my wife would join me, however.)

Nicely located hotel, close to the main square, ATMs, restaurants and convenience stores. Very good if you plan to do early morning hiking to Machu Picchu to admire sunrise. Rooms small but very clean, neat and quiet. Hot shower available all day. From the little balcony we were able to admire surrounding mountains and train leaving and coming into the... More
