A nicer tourist hotel in a very convenient central location for Cuzoc. One can safely walk to the main town center with many sites, banks, restaurants, shopping, etc. in 5-6 blocks. Restaurant was better than most for a tourist hotel and little shops right next door for bottled water, snakcs, etc. Internet access in the rooms was good. Next to... more

I was at this hotel a few days ago. It was probably the nicest hotel we stayed at on this trip. The rooms were spacious, the bathroom roomy and clean. The location is fairly good, maybe a 20 minute walk to the main plaza, but convenience shops, ATMs and souvenir shops all right nearby. Breakfast was included, and it was... more

Situated in downtown Cuzco this is a pleasant hotel. Rooms were large and clean and free Coca tea whenever you wanted it! Breakfasts were very disappointing, there was never enough food and the tables were slow to clear. That said, I would stay here again because of the location and the cleanliness. Travellers tip - Always get a taxi into town,... more

We liked this hotel and, as stated before, it's got a good location. We walked several times to and from the Main Plaza and at no time did we feel it was dangerous. Always lots of people around. It's very close to the theater where you can see a folkloric dance show (free with your tourist coupons). There is a... more

A great little hotel it had everything good food, good staff, nice clean rooms an excellent restaurant. It has a great position with a ten minute walk to the town centre and so much to see within the immediate area. Another hotel to return to if ever that way again. more

We stayed here twice. The first two nights we had a room overlooking the courtyard which we loved. When we returned from Machu Picchu our room overlooked the road at the front, but was still fine and surprisingly quiet. It is very comfortable and very clean. The hotel is a fifteen to twenty minute stroll from the main square (just... more

My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights at the Jose Antonio. The rooms are decent and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is quite simple, there's a small selection of breads, fruit etc. The location is ok. It's not as close to the main square (Plaza de Armas) but it's about a 15-20 min. walk. The hotel is,... more

We were booked through OAT travel, two nights first, then two nights after Machu Pichu. First stay was ok, they booked us on the 5th floor. Second stay was bad. They put us in room 210 which is right above the restaurant. Unknown to us, there is open ductwork from below right into our closet. There was a party the... more

A good clean hotel with very helpfull staff , a couple of reviewers have commented on its distance to the main square but its really only a 10 minute walk maximum. My travelling companion slipped and had a bad fall on the reception floor (another guest had dripped water there from an umbrella) the staff couldnt have been more helpful... more

A good quality hotel a little off-centre as other reviews have commented. The walk up to the Plaza des Armas is not far but perhaps better done by taxi at night given Cusco's reputation, although we had no trouble. A taxi is only 5 soles so it's no big deal. Our room had a good view up Avda del Sol,... more
