We spent two nights here as part of our Gate 1 tour and it was the best of three included in the tour. It was not anything particularly special, but more than adequate. The plumbing problems of under-developed Peru exist here as well. Jose Antonio Hotel is located in the southwestern part of the city between the airport and the... More

Stayed for four nights at the end of a tour with Travelsphere. Unfortunately, although our room was around the back of the hotel and on the third floor, we were over the kitchen and it was quite noisy from very early in the morning. Other rooms further along the corridor, at the back of the hotel I believe were nice... More

This hotel was chosen by the tour company. An easy walk, about 25 minutes, on one street took you to Plaza De Armas. The hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable with great pillows, and the breakfast was superb. The folks at the front desk were willing to help with a package that was delivered but missed the mark when asked... More

Good and clean place in a quiet area (if you want a real silent room ask for one looking the backyard) a bit far from the center (about 600m). Breakfast with good buffet that can be completed by asking to the waiters for anything else you need. Personnel always very kind and helpful (like in all Peru!). Rooms pretty large... More

This is a very nice tourist-level hotel, with great service and a very nice buffet breakfast. The location is very central in town and near a very big souvenir market, but it's a bit of a walk away from Plaza De Armas, which is the old town and the most happening area of Cusco. The rooms have TV, minibar and... More

The Hotel Jose Antonio is very well located. Beside it is a small convenience store for water (very important!) and across the side street is the large handicrafts market where, if you are looking for Peruvian souvenirs, has tons of good options. After the market, keep on walking and you are in the shopping district. The hotel has a large... More

Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Hotel is well located for shopping and close enough to the main sites. There is a mini market next door to buy water and other restaurants located close by. Breakfast was included with my package. It was not as impressive as some of the other hotels which I had stayed in. 1 or 2 free... More

Stayed for two nights during our tour. As we were with a tour group we were picked up each morning so location wasn't an issue. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and toiletries. The breakfast was OK if you didn't want the hot selection. This was lukewarm bordering on cold each morning. Staff got quite aggressive... More

Stayed here during a Peru motorcycle trip. Solid hotel with nice rooms and decent bathrooms. Not a given in Peru. Location is in walking distance from the main square, although it is a few blocks away. The nearby fruit and vegetable market is only a 5 minute walk and very much worth a visit off the tourist track.
