This our first of 2 nights at this hotel but I am already impressed with the room and service combined with the excellent location. I would recommend this hotel to others. Tonight we will be having dinner at the hotel. Will review that separately from the hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Gate 1 tour group. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Street noise was minimal and not bothersome. Breakfast buffet was okay. Spacious and attractive lobby area. Hotel Jose Antonio is a chain; we also stayed at the Hotel Jose Antonio in the Miraflores section of Lima. There were... More

The hotel is in a convenient location. The rooms are spacious. The included breakfast is good, including made to order omelets. The lobby and the corridors are air conditioned, but the rooms are not. Since the street is noisy, you can't sleep with the windows open, and so the lack of air conditioning can be a problem, depending on the... More

Only positive thing I can say about this hotel, are their nice big rooms, and huge bathtub. Location is right off a major thoroughfare with many markets nearby, museums are in walking distance. Breakfast is ok, there is an omelet station where you can get fresh eggs every morning between 5-9am, staff seem helpful but do not follow thru when... More

This hotel has a lovely reception with a constant supply of coca tea. We stayed here twice on our trip - both times we were given a nice room with a huge comfortable bed. No complimentary water in the room/bathroom at all. The hotel is at the bottom of a hill which means a 15 min. walk uphill to the... More

We very much enjoyed this location during our visit to Cusco. Across the street is a wonderful maze of handicraft shops and next door is a mini-market plus nice restaurants scattered all around the neighborhood. Yes, it is a bit of a walk to the Plaza - about 7 blocks - but very pleasurable in good weather. The hotel is... More

I have stayed in the Jose Antonio Hotel in Lima and this hotel was much larger with more spacious rooms. The staff was attentive. The rooms are fine but the hallways are a bit dated. We did not have AC, but our windows opened and we had a view of the lovely courtyard. The breakfast had a nice selection, and... More

We stayed here as part of a group tour in November. The rooms were spotless, spacious and the staff extremely helpful. The buffet breakfast was also very good. The hotel is located a little bit from the main square but there are a few restaurants and small markets nearby. We had a room facing the rail station and it was... More

The hotel is clean an cozy. Nice and confortable rooms. But it is located a little far from the action. You have to walk about 30 minutes to get to plaza the armas main square. Good experience overall.

This was the final hotel on my tour of Peru, and was a really good choice. A very comfortable and quiet room, with a view over the interesting railway station and yard. Sound insulation must have been good, because i didnt hear any aircraft noise form the close-by airport. The restaurant was good and I enjoyed good breakfasts and lunch... More
