Reception was friendly and helpful throughout my stay at this hotel near the Plaza de Armas and the historic centre of Cusco. The lobby and lounge area is quite large, although furnished a bit uncomfortably. The bar is pleasant and decently stocked. Similar to a European hotel, the single room is quite small, but had the benefit of two good... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as part of our Gate1 tour. It is located at the heart of Cuzco, the view from our room window was an Inca archeological site, with ancient human remains included. The room was small but comfortable. Our TV and heater worked OK, internet was a little unreliable but you have the lobby... More

On tour of Peru we stopped 3 nights at this hotel. Internally the decor is Gaudi based (yes the Spanish Architect) Rooms very comfy and buffet breakfast very much 3 star standard. We used the restaurant one night (it was raining) Everybody else had the same idea. They didn't have enough staff to cope but they soldiered through. All meals... More

We just returned from a trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu. We were on a group tour and the San Agustin was our hotel in Cusco. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic. Right in the historic part of town and only a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas, the historic central square in the town.... More

We stayed there for 4 nights, as it's a good location to visit all the Inca tours around Cusco. For breakfast there is a buffet which starts very early that you have to problem to get something even if your tour starts before 6 am. The service is well done and nearly the full buffet is available at 4 am.... More

Positives: Very clean, friendly staff, fantastic location. You wont find yourself short changed on any of these three attributes. This isn't a great place to get a good night's sleep. Many of the rooms share the exterior wall of a very busy street. The other rooms have windows that overlook the enclosed courtyard. Any noise in the courtyard is heard... More

The place is very well located but I wouldn't go back. There are dozens of other hotels in Cusco taht could serve us better. The room was old and we didn't like the service. Everywhere in peru people are kind, just not in San Agustin hotels.

This was such a good surprise in our tour, pretty close to plaza de armas, good restaurants, but also in a nice and quiet street. The service is excellent, also the breakfast that they include on the rate, the fruits and local products are serving with lots of generosity Nice rooms, with a hot tube, very clean and the coca... This is an odd little hotel, well situated for the centre of Cusco. The reception area is very attractive and we were given a good, friendly welcome on arrival, being plied with coca tea to help stave off the effects of altitude. In fact coca tea was freely available in reception area at all times, which is quite a big... More
