I stayed in this hotel on my way to and from Machu Picchu. It is a typical three star hotel. The room was adequate in size actually a pretty good size with two beds in my room. The room was clean from floor to ceiling. The bed and bedding were clean and clean smelling. I had two good night's sleeps.... More

You will enjoy the stay in this hotel if you have been travel to Barcelona, because the hotel is decorated with the "gothic" element's. One of the things I would emphasize are the responsibility and professional of the hotel staff here. As we rush to the airport and checked out in the early morning, but my friend forgot her handbag... More

The other reviews are true regarding noise: this is a tired old hotel with non-existing sound proofing. You hear every noise in the environment - whether from the extremely busy street in front, or other guests moving out in the hallway (starting at as early as 4-5 am), or people and truck passing by in the side alley. The location... More

My son and I stayrd here at either end of our visit to Machu Pichu. Neither of us could sleep the first time, one of us couldn't sleep the second time. Disco till 1.15 then food preparation from 3. Loud music til 6 then food preparation starting straight afterwards. Oh, and one of the rooms was next to the laundry... More

We stayed for two nights, unfortunately the first was awful. As many people stay here before the early train to Machu Picchu, the kitchen gets started early for breakfast - like 3am or something crazy. We were unlucky to have a room right next to the kitchen - we did raise this with management and were moved rooms without fuss... More

The public areas were all clean, quiet, and lovely. All that was missing from the lobby main seating area was a roaring fire, and you would never want to leave. Coca tea is available 24 hours in the lobby (which I found quite helpful for the first day or two). The rooms were clean, albeit a bit chilly in the... More

The halls and public spaces seemed to have been designed by Antonio Gaudi. The rooms are spread over 3 floors and some overlook an interior court yard. As I was with a large group I saw several rooms which ranged from large 3 bedded rooms to smaller doubles used for singles. Very helpful front desk and a pot of coca... More

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights prior to a trip to Machu Picchu and a couple of nights after. We liked the pueblo styling of the hotel and the beds were comfortable. Our first room was compact and the temperature in the shower was unreliable; however, the room we were allocated on our return from MP... More

Maybe a little understaffed in the A.M. Restaurant, However all staff encountered seemed very friendly & helpful. The property was lovely with a lot of character. The staff at this hotel were very polite and friendly anytime I was given a chance to converse with them.

We stayed 2 nights at different times in different rooms and i was not pleased. Hotel is old and in desperate need of repairs, the first room was small, and the bed was small too. We are from the USA, so we like our beds bigger. Bed was comfortable though, and since it was cold in Cusco we didn't mind... More
