Conveniently located, one block form main square in the center of the historic downtown Cuzco. Very clean rooms, helpful staff, nice breakfast, no extra thrills - no bar and restaurant is only open for breakfast.

if you read my review about amaru hostal (http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g294314-d501296-r216623825-Amaru_Hostal-Cusco_Cusco_Region.html) then you probably know how we ended up here. after a stressful time searching for another option with hotels.com, we ended up on this one. a friend of ours who lived in cusco recommended it because of its proximity to plaza de armas. he was absolutely right! the location is perfect.... Enjoyed our stay here while traveling in Peru. Hotel was clean (bring your own conditioner- they don't have any) and in a great location. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating with any of our needs. Was within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Great jumping off point for hiking the Incan trail and the hotel held our extra... More

The Casa Andina Classic in Cusco is right in the centre of town, so its location is perfect; restaurants, shops and tourist sites are all close by. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with everything you need and the staff is extremely warm and helpful at all hours. A simple breakfast is served at an early hour so you... More

A family with 2 small children we had specifically booked 2 adjacent rooms and confirmed those upon arriving at the reception, When led to our rooms these were on opposite ends of the aisle and it took quite some arguing before we managed to get adjacent rooms. Finally, the lobby, rooms, toilets, carpets and the establishment needs and overall overhaul.

This hotel has a great location, near the main square in Cusco. As soon as we arrived, the staff brought us cups of coca tea and got us checked in quickly. Breakfast is included and it starts early enough that you can get breakfast before some of the tours that leave in the early morning. There is also free internet... More

The location is excellent , in the centre of town.It is spotlessly clean .The staff were very helpful and friendly. The brekfast was typical for the region with plenty to eat and variety, The rooms are basic but have ample room, compfortable beds . we would stay at this hotel again without hesitation.

This is an awesome hotel. Beware that there are four "Casa Andinas" in Cusco. This one is on the less expensive side and is is just off the main plaza. We walked to all of the in-town sights that we wanted to see. Some rooms have a lip (short step) on the floor leading into the room or the bathroom.... More

It is unfortunate that we arrived at this hotel after staying at 5 star establishments. Even so we think the hotel could be improved significantly. On the plus side are the location close to the main square, the friendly staff, a comfortable bed, strong and reliable wifi and an excellent shower. However it was let down by a rather dingy... More

Stayed in this hotel recently for a trip before and after a hike to Macchu Pichu (late April). The staff was truly excellent and responsive, with excellent English. They helped with directions, getting a taxi, plug adapters etc. Also seemed aware of tour group needs and coordinated effectively with them on our behalf. The breakfast buffet was ample. Could have... More
