Fantastic hotel around a sunny courtyard, wide verandahs, quirky decor with lots of interesting features and design. Public spaces very atmospheric and comfortable. Rooms spacious, great shower, separate loo, good storage space. Staff friendly and helpful.

We spent two nights here toward the end of a great trip to Peru. By comparison to other hotels we used, El Mercado Tunqui was a disappointment with some positives. The good part: the bar and restaurant staff were very nice and responsive, the rooms are comfortable (though small), the breakfast buffet was good but had a small selection, and... More

Great modern (yet traditional) hotel close to all the sights of Cusco. Loved the restaurant in the lobby and the cozy fire set nightly in the courtyard. The staff are helpful, but not overly friendly. Early morning can be noisy in the halls, slamming doors and echoes which can be a drag when you're trying to adjust to sleeping in... More

Great location. Just a few blocks walk to main square in Cusco. 15 minutes drive from airport. Really nice clean rooms. Nice friendly staff. Restaurant on site. Nice breakfast with good variety. Free coca tea all day. Wifi on site in all the rooms (wifi was a little faster in lobby and central area. Nice relaxing sitting area with open... More

Audley Travel booked this for us and we stayed a total of 4 nights. We loved it. OK it is a little up the hill from the centre of Cusco but the benefit is how extraordinarily quiet it is. We had a Superior Double for our first stay, which was very comfortable. When we returned they gave us a gratis upgrade... More

Our group of 5 stayed in this hotel for 3 days, arranged as part of our Cuzco/MP tour. We had a 3-bed & a double room. Very happy with our experience here. Excellent location - walking distance from the main plaza, but sufficiently distant to avoid loud noise. The hotel itself is a remodelled villa, so retains its original quaintness... More

We have just spent 3 nights at the above hotel and class it as great. The staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is amazing from the fresh fruit, smoothies, omelettes or eggs done any way, fresh bread, cereals, teas and coffee, everything you could wish for. The rooms are comfortable the beds large, the shower... More

We stayed at this hotel two days prior to our trekking with REI and one day post trekking with REI. We were in rooms 306, and 304. Very large rooms with good amount of storage space. The staff was very helpful and very professional. The rooms were clean, the water hot. They had 24 our coffee and tea, easily accessed.... More

we stayed here 2 nights and really loved the hotel. The staff were very helpful, the room was immaculate and it was a great place to rest - especially the court area where coffee was available and you could relax on the sofas. Breakfast was really good with plenty fresh fruit and juices. lovely omelettes on offer and a quirky... More

staff was always willing to assist... they even placed my post cards in the mail! The room was very clean, breakfast with all the trimmings and we had English TV Movies~ It's in a perfect location to Cusco's busy streets down below. I would highly recommend~ and don't forget to drink the free tea that is available all day.
