My husband and I highly recommend staying here. It was very clean and comfortable. The view is amazing and unbeatable! Miguel and his staff were so accommodating and made us feel so welcome. They answered all of our questions and made some great recommendations. The price is very reasonable. If we ever go back we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Wara Wara 8 nights as a base to explore the Sacred Valley,Macchu Pichu and Cusco.Great value for price.Friendly and helpful owners. Basic Peruvian breakfast. Miguel will cook at night and on returning tired from the jungle this is what we did and it was relaxing and good food. Great views over the Plaza de Armas. Some stairs... More

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the mountains from our room and it was lovely waking up to it every morning. The location was fantastic too...in a quiet spot with amazing views overlooking the main plaza. If you are doing the inca trail trek, then walking up and... More

We stayed three nights at Wara Wara hostal. The osners are very friendly and helpful with all your questions about your stay. They gave us great tips on independent travel in the cusco area. The rooms are nice and clean, they are all a bit different so ask to see the room before you make up your mind. The brakfast... More

On a recommendation from friends who had a stayed at Wara Wara a couple of years ago, we booked a stay there for this coming Christmas/New Years. Unfortunately, due to health problems of a family member, we were forced to cancel the trip. The very same day that I notified Viviana and Miguel of our cancellation, they refunded our deposit... I would recommend the Hostal Wara Wara to anyone who is travelling to Cusco. The owners Miguel and his lovely wife Viviana are very friendly people, who will help you with any question you have. We stayed in the Wara Wara before and after the Salkantay Trek and we could even borrow walking sticks for the trek from them. The... More

We stayed for two nights in November 2014. Our room was clean and spacious. Nice view from the room. We also enjoyed Miguel's cooking on our first night, with a glass of wine & music & beautiful view. It was amazing. The service was excellent, they even let us store our bags two days after we checked out (as we... More

Located at the top of the hill behind the main square, you might get a little puffed when walking home, thanks to the altitude, but the view and hospitality were worth it. We arrived on an overnight bus that, surprisingly, arrived into Cusco early. We were very tired, it was cold and dark, and we were keeping our fingers crossed... More

The place has a very nice view as shown by the main photo and that is partially why we picked this location. It is situated just north of the main square of Cusco and is exactly 159 steps from it and let me tell you, when you first arrive, it was pretty hard to walk up those steps. It is... More

Hello WaiFromTO Thank you so much for your review, but you have forgotten to mention something important about the location. Reading your review some people can think that the only way to get the hostal is climbing "the 159 step". But you also have the option of taking a taxi to our front door; It is exactly 2 minutes ride... More
