Your feel at home almost from the second your enter Hostal Wara Wara. Miguel, and his lovely wife, son and dog all welcomed us when we arrived. They offered us tea, took time to explain about Cusco and answer our questions. We even got an upgrade for free because it was my birthday - thanks :-) The room was a... More

This is without question one of the nicest places I have stayed at during my time in Peru. Miguel and his wife Viviana make you welcome from the moment you arrive. They have a lovely hostal and an excellent bar/restaurant - both have stunning views across the city of Cusco. Miguel has a great collection of wines available, which I... More

We stayed in a private room at the Wara Wara hosted by Miguel. In the US, this would be called a boutique hotel rather than a hostel, and was an amazing value. The room had beautiful views of the city, charming architecture throughout and the hosts were wonderful going out their way to make our stay the best it could... More

This is a delayed review, but one I feel I must complete. Arrived in Cusco after the Sacred Valley. The entire trip was amazing, but the stay at Wara Wara was a definite highlight. Arriving, to a small sign and a closed door, it was the best example of what is inside that counts. You are made to feel at... More

Miguel and Vivian, along with their adorable son Luciano and cute dog Tito make Wara Wara a fantastic place. They are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms upstairs are quieter since all rooms face the breakfast room and breakfast begins at 7 am. The beds are warm and comfortable and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is basic, but has good... We had a truly memorable experience with Wara Wara, made so by the spectacular views and the incomparable hospitality of Miguel and Viviana. The top bar will honestly take your breath away, and the experience is only enhanced by the subtle-but-sexy tunes that Miguel plays each night. The location of the hotel is, by necessity, at the top of a... More

We stayed in Hostal Wara Wara at the end of September 2014 awaiting our Inca Trail adventure. Like many have stated before in their reviews, I found Miguel and his wife extremely pleasant and helpful in answering any questions and making small arrangements for us from giving us coco leaves for the trail to arranging laundry service. It's these little... More

My husband and I highly recommend staying here. It was very clean and comfortable. The view is amazing and unbeatable! Miguel and his staff were so accommodating and made us feel so welcome. They answered all of our questions and made some great recommendations. The price is very reasonable. If we ever go back we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Wara Wara 8 nights as a base to explore the Sacred Valley,Macchu Pichu and Cusco.Great value for price.Friendly and helpful owners. Basic Peruvian breakfast. Miguel will cook at night and on returning tired from the jungle this is what we did and it was relaxing and good food. Great views over the Plaza de Armas. Some stairs... More

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the mountains from our room and it was lovely waking up to it every morning. The location was fantastic too...in a quiet spot with amazing views overlooking the main plaza. If you are doing the inca trail trek, then walking up and... More
