I chose this place to stay based on price and good user reviews, and I really made the right decision. The place was very charming, and all the staff were so friendly. My room was super clean, and had a private shower. Everything was perfect. The free breakfast was toast, ham and cheese slices, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and juice. The... More

This was my second time in Cusco and this time I wanted to stay in the heart of San Blas with it's restaurants, shops and cobbled streets. This hostal was in the perfect location for me. It had comfortable beds, hot water, a nice buffet breakfast including strong coffee and coca tea. It was quiet at night and our second... More

so our first time in peru and we weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into. We originally were booked at another hostel but ended up booking here because the other one sold out. Blessing in disguise. this place is great. The staff was awesome and they really took care of us. First off- #1 thing i look for is... More

Super cute decor in the rooms and cute inside courtyard! Staff was very helpful. We stayed for 3 days. Nice breakfast with an egg made to order, yogurt, quinoa granola, fruit, meat, cheese and bread. Nice and quiet and an easy walk down to the main square. It's on a narrow one way street, but taxis had no problems finding... More

El Griel was such a lovely place to stay. I was in Cusco for 3 weeks and rotated about a few places between travels and this was by far the best. Firstly the service was incredible, they couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly to me. They two girls were so kind and I would consider them both friends now.... More

Excellent place but make sure you do not have a room in the back. In the back is a generator which makes noise all night. Best breakfast in Peru, helpfull staff and good beds. Hottest water in Peru too with lots of pressure. Gave us discount on a trip because the guide did only speak spanish.

We had a lovely stay in Hostal El Grial. Amira and the other staff were incredibly helpful. They organised an airport pick-up for us and organised a cab when we left. The rooms we stayed in (before and after the Inca Trail) were clean and comfortable and the showers were nice and hot. The Hostal is in the San Blas... More

Muchas gracias Amira and company! Everyone was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They went out of there way to ensure we had a great stay. They called us cabs; booked us tours and even packed us breakfast when we left for Machu Picchu. A great example of how to run a business!

Thank you Amira:) What a great little find in downtown Cuzco, with comfy warm clean beds, a fresh egg cooked for us every morning (as well as fresh breads and buns and juice) and our saviour - the coca tea for altitude adjustment. Staff got up earl to serve us breakfast on our last morning at 5:15 am so we... More

We had a lovely comfortable stay here during our trip to Cusco. Nothing to complain about. The good: - Every staff member was very friendly and welcoming. We dealt the most with Amira who was very helpful on the front desk and patiently answered all of our questions. She also surprised us with some hot coca tea which she brought... More
