We had a lovely stay in Hostal El Grial. Amira and the other staff were incredibly helpful. They organised an airport pick-up for us and organised a cab when we left. The rooms we stayed in (before and after the Inca Trail) were clean and comfortable and the showers were nice and hot. The Hostal is in the San Blas... More

Muchas gracias Amira and company! Everyone was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They went out of there way to ensure we had a great stay. They called us cabs; booked us tours and even packed us breakfast when we left for Machu Picchu. A great example of how to run a business!

Thank you Amira:) What a great little find in downtown Cuzco, with comfy warm clean beds, a fresh egg cooked for us every morning (as well as fresh breads and buns and juice) and our saviour - the coca tea for altitude adjustment. Staff got up earl to serve us breakfast on our last morning at 5:15 am so we... More

We had a lovely comfortable stay here during our trip to Cusco. Nothing to complain about. The good: - Every staff member was very friendly and welcoming. We dealt the most with Amira who was very helpful on the front desk and patiently answered all of our questions. She also surprised us with some hot coca tea which she brought... More

We spent three comfortable nights here and would go back in a heart beat. Sweet place, great location, clean and comfortable, with accomodating workers that all together made our stay a most enjoyable one. For the price you can't beat it!

I would recommend, even if I didn't have such a good experience with my room at ground floor. First of all, it is in San Blas, which is one of the nicest areas of Cusco, a short walk away from the city centre. This is a 2 stories old house completely refurbished in a very nice way. Unfortunately it has... More

Wonderful, small hostel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small, but comfortable Roms. Very clean! Breakfast was ok. Street was calm. Walking distance to main square of Cusco. Just right to the hostel there is a very good french Crêpe restaurant. Perfect for an evening snack!

I had the best time at El Grial. I stayed there for more than 10 days. The staff was super helpful and gave fantastic suggestions of places to eat and visit and directions. They had very clean room, hot shower, hot tea, and the most delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, bread and butter and jam, ham, cereal, milk juice.... More

Great location in San Blas area. Amira ,the manager is wonderful, warm, helpful. The rooms are spotless & the breakfast is healthy & good. Although the rooms are simple, they are inviting. Only the triple has a view of Cusco. The showers are always hot & mate de coca tea always available.A great place to meet interesting travelers from around the world. This was... More

We were wandering round this less busy/noisy/dirty part of town, made a passing enquiry and moved from another hotel. The place was great and the host Amira couldn't do enough to help us. They looked after our luggage whilst on the 4 day trek and also let us keep it there and use the lounge on the rest of the... More
