This hotel is in a fabulous location and central to all attractions in Cusco. The hotel is good value for money - provides a base. The rooms are situated around a pleasant courtyard. This is an average hotel where the staff, both reception and dining room seem disinterested. We were only given one towel and asked reception if we could... More

This building is around 300 years old (the old part), and it is in the perfect location for shopping, dining & just sightseeing around Cuzco. Make sure you ask for the newer rooms as the old rooms are lovely but have wooden floors & you can hear people clomping around at all hours of the day & night, especially when... More

A short stroll to the central plaza is but one of the benefits of staying here!. Rooms are quiet (we stayed in two different ones during two stays at this hotel and both were good with space big enough to store clothes, charge equipment etc Helpful multi-lingual reception staff also a big plus. Excellent breakfast from early.

An old Inca House turning a hotel is indeed a nice experience while in Cusco. They still keep the house antiques as you enter this hotel. Breakfast is good although the same menu everyday. There are many restaurants around the hotel which serve good food . The room is spacious , wifi works well at the lobby and 3rd floor... More

The hotel was used as a stopping point during a motorcycle tour of Peru. This was used as a break so we could get over numb bums for a few days. The hotel is situated in the heart of Cuzco near the main square and close to the main bars. My friends and I loved it. The food was okay.... More

We stayed here in October 2010. Located in the heart of Cusco, this hotel is near all the action (restaurants, bars, the main square). The staff was extremely friendly and the room was well appointed. We enjoyed several dinners here which were delicious and the wine we bought was definitely some of the best South America has to offer. Would... More

We stayed at the Royal Inca I Hotel in May. We had stayed there before in 2000 and truly loved the charm and location. It is more than 300 years old and has charm and lots and lots of stairs. We requested our old room #706. It is a two level room with a queen bed upstairs and a huge... More

I couldn't ask for a better location. The hotel was charming and the rooms were large and comfortable. However, the hotel rooms were a bit noisy, so bring ear plugs and perhaps a night mask if you don't want the sun to wake you up. Wifi was not dependable and slow. It did work. There was no swimming pool that... More

Our stay with the Royal Inka was great, especially for the central location, charming historic building and large breakfast. Our one issue was street noise but we switched rooms and had no problem after that. In particular, the door man Mario was very helpful.

The room is big in the old inka house. I stayed there 4 nights and tried two different rooms. The first one on the 2nd level is a bit noisy as facing the main street so I changed to the one in the 3rd level patio which is better , more modern and quiet. Not so far from the main... More
