We stayed here for a few nights before starting a trek in the Sacred Valley. We wanted to stay in San Blas and were happy with this hotel but it didn't really go above and beyond in any significant way. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was modest but tasty. Our room was quite dark and the matrimonial... More

We wanted to stay in the San Blas region at the end of our trip in Cusco. What a mistake to come here! First, you can't find the place since it is not located on a street. The place is very delapidated - holes in the floor, cold water turned off because the toilet leaks, lumpy pillows and the matrimonial... More

This is a charming place to stay, the rooms are old, but comfortable, and have a lot of character. It's quiet both at night and during the daytime, being on a narrow pedestrian street that is not heavily used, but is still within easy walking distance of the main square. We found the staff exceptionally helpful and polite, and they... More

The hostal was very nice and helpful. The rooms were charming and spacious. The only problem was all the stairs to get to the hostal. After a long day out touring that was the last thing I wanted to do was climb those stairs but other than that I wold definitely recommend this Hostal.

My friends and I stayed in the quad room. The room was nice and cozy and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was yummy!!! The hostel is in a great location - very central. The price was more than fair. And - the hot water was long lasting! (which was nice because there were 4... More

Our party of four stayed here for ten days and couldn't have been more satisfied. Staff were helpful and attentive, breakfast was good and served promptly, showers were hot, beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. They stored our bags for the two days we went to Machu Picchu. The 45 steps can be daunting... More

Loved this little hotel! Its worth the hike up the steps!! Convenient to Plaza de Armas and San Blas. They have a very friendly and attentive staff that speak English. The rooms are very clean and have fluffy down comforters and heaters. Hot, powerful shower (perfect post-Inca trail!). Adorable little breakfast room, eggs and bread every morning. Hot tea and... This hostel is well situated, close to Plaza de Armas in the center of activities of Cusco. Its not on a street but up along a staircase between two streets. Room are adequate. The common areas can get quite cold at night and early in the morning as they do not appeared to be heated. Room have a heater which... More

We stayed in this hotel for over a week when we lost our Visa and had to wait until a new one arrived. After some of the hotels we stayed in through South America we were happy to wait in such a friendly, comfortable place. The staff are all very friendly and speak excellent English. The breakfasts were good, the... More

A travelling group of 8 we were, all of us from different upbringings, etc different outlooks on life and expectations. However, during our 5 weeks of travelling, ALL of us agree on one thing. this place was by far the best place we have stayed. Granted there are a few steps to get up, and being in high altitude (and... More
