We stayed in Garcilaso 2 We stayed here three nights total, and stored our luggage in beteen stays (we hiked the Inka Trail) The rooms are okay, but not spectacular, I liked the beds, but I do tend to like harder beds. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is quite ok. All in all I think we got... More

Stayed in Garcilaso I (as opposed to Garcilaso II). Hotel is a short walk from Plaza de Armas and surrounding tourist attractions. Minimal English spoken, but staff was very helpful. Nice common areas with tea and coffee provided (free) throughout the day. Great breakfast. Good WiFi, hot water, and good water pressure. Staff can arrange taxis (slightly inflated fare) to... More

Besides having a basic room near the many attractions of the historic district, I most enjoyed the dignified yet friendly and helpful staff, the plentiful breakfast buffet set out at 5:00 am each morning, the lovely courtyard, and the internet station in an alcove of a sort of parlor near the registration desk. The breakfast area had two seating sections... More

Hotel stored our extra bags for 2 days while we went to Aguas Calientes. Rooms were large, clean but cold. Heater took awhile to warm up. Staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Had a quick visit.

Garcilaso hotel has two wings I and II. We stayed at II. The rooms are good ,quiet and well maintained though old. Breakfast is good but no other restaurant service is available . This is not a problem since the hotel is surrounded by excellent restaurants.

This is a standard, no-frills hotel in the center of the historic district. While it is located close to all the main squares, restaurants, shops, and other tourist destinations, it suffers from dated, stale interiors, and inadequate wi-fi. There are two wi-fi networks and the one that supposed to serve all the rooms is really only effective outside the rooms... More

Excellent location, close to everything, and very safe. Good size, comfortable and clean rooms, good bathroom with hot water. Plenty of blankets and a portable heater. the rooms need to be more modern but this is an excellent value hotel for the price. good wifi. Pleasant colonial building with central patio and large hallways with colonial furnitures. Staff is ok,... More

A friend recommended that we stay at this hotel and we were really glad we did. This hotel was really , the rooms were a good size and very clean. You won't get cold in these rooms cause they have lots of wool blankets on the bed and there is a portable heater. We didn't need any of them but... More

This is one of the two hotels that we stayed at while in Cusco. The location is great for sights, tours and restaurants. The lobby is actually nice but I just didn't like our room. We were on the first floor. It was cold but the space heater managed to keep the room nice and warm for us. We got... More

this review is for hotel garcilaso 1. the room was very cold, even after requesting and using an additional heater for hours. the very thick walls seem to eat up all the heat. the floor also seemed to be wet and there was a lot of mold everywhere. the specialty of our room was roof light above one of the...
