This was the best hotel we stayed in whilst in Peru. The location is great, service fantastic and we couldn't ask for more. I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in this hotel for a total of 4 nights with 3 nights before the Lares Trek and 1 night after. Breakfast is fresh with a good selection.

On reaching the hotel you already enters in the mood of the trip. The building is typical of the region. The service is spectacular (always very helpful and friendly, we left our bags to go to Aguas Calientes and when we got back they were already in our new room), the breakfast has enough variety and all very tasty. Walk to all central sites and the best restaurants from Rumi Punko. This moderately priced hotel has all a the essentials including refrigerator, pleasant staff, a good breakfast with .made to order eggs. (However there is no notice saying eggs are available, you just need to know.). The courtyards are very pretty and a good place to read on a... More

Rumi Punku is well positioned, everything within walking distance. Staff were always available, pleasant and ready to assist. They dried my wet laundry that the Radisson had refused to dry. They collected us from the airport. Rooms are clean spacious. Breakfast not bad. Really enjoyed our stay. We'd go back there anytime.

This review has been long due, but finally getting to it now. We stayed at the Rumi Punku for 2 nights back in September. Great staff and service, quaint courtyard and decor, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and amazing location! I think that pretty much sums it up. There were 5 of us, and we even got upgraded one of the... More

We stayed at Rumi Punku for two nights and had a wonderful experience there. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable, with a nicely appointed, modern bathroom. The ambiance, with open-air courtyards and beautiful plants, is charming. The rooms offered lots of amenities, including a small refrigerator stocked with reasonably-priced bottled water, drinks, and snacks, as well a wine. The... More

Stayed here two times in August, with one night in Aguas Calliente in between. Two different rooms, both great. Excellent service, looking out for and anticipating your needs. They get almost all the details right! Free ride from the airport, they picked us up. Don't forget to ask for in email. They didn't offer this on way back to airport... More

In a quaint sidestreet a short walk to the main plaza. Excellent restaurants nearby. Helpful reception who spoke good english and recommended and made restaurant reservations for us. the spa bath was much appreciated after our return from Machu Picchu. Beds were comfortable, but most importantly it was a lovely quiet oasis.

The Rumi Punku is the best hotel I stayed at with my trip to Peru. It is quite charming with its gardens and courtyards. Its breakfast had a wonderful buffet of fresh fruits, juices, breads, cereals, natural yogurt and made to order omelets. There was 24/7 tea and free WiFi. It was only 2 blocks from the main square and... More

My sister and I stayed here before and after attempting to go to Machu Picchu (a bacterial infection stopped us and sent us via a Cusco hospital). The Rumi Punku is in a good location, only a short walk to the main tourist square, with plenty of laundrettes in the street which was very handy. There are nice gardens in... More
