excellent by our standards but a little noisy at night when walking, maybe the floor planks are loose...but it was rhe best option to choose for a couple of adventurers, if you want to rest after a challenging activity this could be your hideaway & refuge.

Together with two friends we stayed at Hotel Rumi Punku in November 2015 for three nights before leaving for a trek to MP, then a fourth night on returning from that. We got a 3 bed shared room for those nights. This was a great place to stay. The facilities were lovely and the breakfast superb. Cusco was the start... More

Stayed 3 nights on arrival in Peru, and a further 3 nights after being in the Sacred Valley (switched hotels to go back to Rumi Punku - they kept our luggage whilst at Machu Picchu). Close to Plaza de Armas through lovely alleyways, but away from traffic. Lovely courtyards filled with plants and pots, and great rooftop views. Good breakfast,... More

Beautiful rebuilt building--looks like 2 old houses joined, with hidden nooks everywhere and nice roof views if you can find the right stair case. New rooms, clean and quite lovely...only drawback is that the floors must only be single plank, as they are quite loud as folks walk by on them. Generally helpful and pleasant staff, with good suggestions for... More

Old world charm. The hotelhas a central location near the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral. Several museums and many restaurants are all in easy walking distance. Generally quiet. Many rooms face courtyards.

Really a nice surprise and a great value. All of Cuzco is a good value, but this hotel was super nice and very reasonable. Rooms were well decorated, clean and roomy. Nice appointments and finally, some shampoo! Staff helpful, breakfast great. It's also not such a hike up the hill from the Plaza de Armas, important because you're always climbing... More

This is a charming hotel around a beautiful open courtyard. It is very convenient to the main attractions of Cusco. We only stayed one night and had a triple room for a couple and adult child and the room was huge and well appointed. The breakfast room was quite lovely and food very satisfactory. Check-in went very smoothly. Definitely a... More

We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Rumi Punku. We spent 2 nights prior to and one night following our Inka Trail trek, and the hotel was very helpful in assisting us with trip preparations (they loaned us two duffel bags) and also were happy to store our luggage for us during the trip. It was very easy... More

Rumi Punku is a really charming hotel, with a warm and convivial vibe to it. The various courtyards and countless stairs and pathways are quite worth the visit. The room are clean and well furnished, bathroom very bright with constant hot water (not a given in Cusco or Puno!). We had a very nice view from the window. Breakfast space... More
