Rumi Punku provided a lovely start to our honeymoon. The staff were very helpful. We did have to change rooms since there is hotel is undergoing renovations at present, but this was done with little inconvenience. The location is very good for access to the city attractions and restaurants. They were very flexible in accomodating us as our travel plans... more

Reasonable accommodation, but rooms were small and dark and there was mould in the bathroom. For $90 a night it was overpriced. Breakfast was average. Location was good - short walk to main square. more

Rumi Punku is a wonderful hotel. We stayed for just over a week, making it our base as we toured and explored the area. We booked based off the TripAdvisor reviews and ratings, and we were not disappointed. We had a "matrimonial" room, meaning it was a queen size bed and a decent size. Not huge, but larger than rooms... more

I chose this hotel based off of TripAdvisor's comments and from its #3 rating of best hotels in Cusco. I'm so glad I stayed there. The hotel is in the San Blas part of town, just up from the main square. It is a bit of an uphill walk to get there, but it will help you acclimatize. We were... more

Pros: Rumi Punku has an excellent location, its easy to walk to the main attractions and great restaurants. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and fresh. The breakfast each morning was great. There is internet in the lobby to check the weather and keep in touch with family/friends at home. The only con: Breakfast did not seem to be replenished... more

I just returned from a 2 night stay at Rumi Punku. The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the Plaza. My family of 5 stayed in 1 room with 3 single and 1 double beds. The beds were very comfortable and "warm". The shower was hot with great water presurre, this is extremely important to me. They... more

Charming hotel, Front desk staff & doorman always very helpful. Rooms clean and neat, but only dim light bulbs to read by. Looked forward to the hot tub in a nice little room, but when we went to use it found it closed for the construction going on next to it. Breakfast was nice the first day, the second day... more

I took my wife and two boys (12 and 10) to Peru and our original plan was to stay at Rumi Punku for two nights between trips to the Amazon and Machu Picchu. We did and really enjoyed the place. It is centrally located to the plaza and is quiet at night. They stored our extra luggage between stays. When... more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had a very positive experience as far as the hotel location, cleanliness, hotel staff support, hotel facilities are concerned. The lobby has coca tea available anytime. Internet/computer is available for free. During our stay, Antonio was at the reception and he was always supportive and glad to help. You feel secure... more

The hotel is designed in a Spanish style with rooms looking out onto an attractive courtyard. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable and hot water and heat plentiful. Security is more than adequate. Guest rooms are secure and there is a security person at the entrance 24/7. The buffet breakfast is great with everything from bacon and eggs to fruits, breads,... more
