Due to excellent reviews for this hotel, it was our choice for staying in Cusco, and it was a great choice. Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, free internet access 24/7, free tea, and a safe place to put our luggage, documents and money during the time when we did the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu. Best place... more

From the moment you arrive till the moment you say goodbye it is a beautiful experience. Rumi has all the items you ask for a nice hotel. White linens perfectly clean. Nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Free wireless internet. And the most important thing: service!!! I used to work in a five star hotel and I must say that you won´t... more

I stayed at Rumi Punku for 3 nights and was thrilled with the experience. The room was cozy and warm with a space heater and heavy blanket. The entire hotel is spotless clean. The hot water always worked and both the bathroom and room itself were spacious. The decor is fantastic, with original Inca stonework visible throughout the building in... more

I recently spent 4 nights here during my honeymoon and LOVED it. Free accessible internet, attentive and friendly staff, gorgeous rooftop views, clean rooms & hot showers, convenient location and an extensive complimentary breakfast. Within a couple of blocks of the Plaza de Armas, great San Blas resaurants (I recommend Pachapapa's) and a convenient walk to Sacsayhuaman. more

We loved Rumi Punku. The best hotel we stayed at in Peru (also the most expensive, but worth it at $80 a night). We stayed there a total of 9 nights in three different visits (before and after the Inca Trail, and after the rain forest). The only flaw was that they didn't send the car to the airport to... more

we stayed at Rumi Punku for 4 nights and it was a great experience. The hotel is beautiful. We stayed in the triple room (211). The room is spacious and very comfortable. We showered both in the mornings and evenings and never had problems with hot water. The hotel staff are great at Rumi Punku. They arranged taxis (even negotiate... more

Just came back from a 2 night stay at this charming hotel in Cusco. The staff are so friendly and helpful, practically falling over each other to help with luggage and restaurant recommendations. As we were about to pull away in our taxi, one of the staff members gave me a hug and said "Don't forget us!" I most certainly... more

Hotel Rumi Punku and staff were absolutely delightful! Were picked up from the airport as promised. Although there was a strike on October 7th, Sergio (tour guide who works closely with Rumi Punku) did whatever he can to book a October 6th backpacker to Macchu Picchu and arranged everything all around. On the way back from Macchu Picchu, Jessica who... more

We stayed at Rumi Punku for several days, using it as our base while traveling to Machu Picchu and Manu. We were able to store our extra bags at the hotel for no charge while we were away. The cozy rooms are very clean and comfortable. The rooms have hot water (sometimes it takes a while) safes, phones and televisions.... more

We stayed at Rumi Punku for three nights in October 2008. Our initial impression was somewhat challenging-- we arrived on the train from MP in the evening, only to discover that the taxi (which the hotel was supposed to send for us) hadn't shown up at the train station. There were no licensed taxis to be found, and we were... more
