I was led to this place by a local while aimlessly wandering the streets of Cusco. I was pleased to make this my home for a couple of days. I don’t use the word home lightly. The hostel is family ran. I was warmly greeted by la senora when I entered, before even deciding to stay she invited me in... More

I stayed at Resbalosa during New Years last year with a group of friends, and aside from the slightly money-hungry owner it was a decent place. The room was clean, mattresses comfortable and flat (a nice change from the many deeply indented ones my back endured), and the place was relatively close to the center. The only complaints I have... I really liked this hostel. The staff is ultra friendly and the view of the city is amazing. Also, it is really close to Plaza de Armas, basically on a street that goes directly to it. I paid 15 soles for a dorm, so it is really good value. Again, the owners are super friendly and I met some incredible... More

I am indecisive about this place. The location is good (even thought you have to climb there each time), the breakfasts at the terrace with beautiful view was great, but otherwise I was not impressed. I was traveling in a group, they gave us all downstairs rooms which were VERY COLD (outside was actually warmer!!!) and had no views at... More

The steps to the hostel take your breath away, but when you arrive and see the elderly couple, the wife in hair curlers and the husband watching football, you catch your breath again realizing that they are 2x your age and hike the steps daily. The hostel is charming. It is chilly throughout the corridors and when stepping out of... More

The owner are an old couple which try to earn money. They are very nice but you can tell they want to be rich. Nothing is for free. I went to the Salkanty trail left my backpack there and they charged me for 5 days about 25$ even they knew that I was sleeping two more nights when I came... More

The view is amazing from the terraces! The room clean, but no heating. It didn`t really bother us, we used extra blankets, and slept very well. We got hot water, no problem with that. The staff really nice, friendly and helpful.

Even though getting to this place requires a rough hike up from the Plaza de Armas, but it's only a few blocks and it's worth it! The rooms are clean and nicely furnished with plenty of warm blankets, t.v. and some with amazing views of the plaza. The water is super hot and has great pressure and towels are included.... More

Very nice and helpful lady that owns the place, great views, beautiful terrace... but only for fit people, since you have to walk up a steep staircase in order to get there. Although advertised, the water was not really warm. Overall a good budget option given the amazing views and friendly staff.
