I stayed here as part of toucan Tours trip. My first room was a single on the second floor. The room was clean and had what I needed. The shower was perfectly hot enough for me! The second time I was sharing a twin room on the ground floor next to the courtyard. As there are trips setting off at... More

This plaza (hostel) is located in a prime destination and surrounded by fancy restaurants and hotels. They serve breakfast but its a very sad selection and you have to ask someone to cook you eggs. The courtyard is in the middle of the rooms so anyone hanging there and talking, you will be able to hear it from your room... More

We have had four nights here in four different rooms over the course of ten days. The courtyard rooms are very noisy. Every bed squeaks incessantly. Even just the slightest movement causes a ruckus. The hot water was non existent in two of the rooms. Hubby was wandering around the hotel in his towel in an attempt to get the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights altogether interrupted by a 2 day tour to Machu Picchu. The location is excellent in relation to the central plaza and we were privileged to be in Cusco for the Corpus Christi celebrations. The small plaza in which the hostel is situated is quiet and pleasant. The staff were friendly & helpful but the... More

This hotel is really close to Plaza de Armas, which means it has a great location. However the price is about 65$ for really old beds and bad mattress . My back still hurts because I could not sleep very well. Bathroom is very small and towels are kind of old and damaged . I would say this is a... More

This hotel gets by on its group business and is on a steady downhill trajectory. Most rooms are small and dinghy and not comfortable. The breakfast staff of 1 could not manage without help from group guides, staff not happy looking people and not enough of them. Common areas limited in space, WIFI near useless. Was worth paying extra for... More

My husband and I stayed here twice as part of a tour. The first time (2 nights) we were on the ground floor and it was incredibly noisy. There isn't any soundproofing and we heard absolutely everything and everyone. I even managed to hear the snoring from across the hall!!! A group of people returned late in the evening and... More

The hotel is OK and situated in a lovely place not far from the main square, but the floors are all bare and the sound proofing non existent, so when the tour group that was leaving early was having wake up calls at 5am I heard every door being knocked on and then everyone moving around talking on the stairs... I stayed here while on a g adventures tour with 13 other people. Always had a clean, private double/triple room and bathroom. Towels were provided along with soap and shampoo. Great location to main plaza just up the hill and also close to several recommended restaurants and close by a shop selling water and snacks, a mini courtyard market and... More

I stayed in the Cusco Plaza 1 as part of a Gadventures tour of Peru on two occassionas. The hotel is in a great location. The hotel is clean, comfortable and basic. I stayed in a twin bed room on the third and second floor. Top tip the third floor is quieter than the second. The second floor is within... More
