We stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour, which seems to be the only reason people come. The only redeeming thing about this place is the lovely staff and the location. It is ridiculously , overpriced ($55 per night), you can do much better for half the price in Cuzco. The rooms are bare but clean, extremely stuffy... More

We stayed here for 1 night before and 1 night after a volunteer assignment in Manu. It is extremely well located, in a small square close to the Plaza De Armas and some rooms have wonderful views over the city. The double rooms are well sized and clean, but unimaginatively decorated and furnished. Staff are pleasant and helpful. WIFI signal... More

We stayed here both before and after the inca trail. The staff are lovely, the rooms clean and spacious. A breakfast is included with eggs cooked to order. The hotel is in a great location just sat the back of the main square. I would recommend it as a reasonable priced stay in cusco.

I stayed here with my aunts on the first and last nights of our trip to Cusco and environs. We had a triple room both nights. The first was quite a charming second floor room overlooking the Plaza Nazarenas - unfortunately, there was a car alarm going off in the plaza for close to two hours that night, and even... More

I stayed at this hotel for a total of four nights, before and after completing the Inca Trail. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. It is very well located in a nice little square, just a few minutes' walk from Plaza de Armas, markets and many bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the breakfast was... More

We stayed at this hostel as part of a Tucan travel tour of Peru for 3 nights. Cuzco is an amazing city and the hostel provides a great base for exploring it. The rooms are nothing too fancy but are spacious, clean and comfortable (some also had great views across the city). The hostel has a nice communal seating area... More

I spent 4 nights here with a Tucan tour group, in two different rooms. The first room was huge with three single beds. The shower was hot and strong. The room had a heater which struggled to heat the large room but the alpaca blankets made up for it. It's not posh or ornate but it's clean and comfortable. The... More

Great location, but everything else is poor about this hotel. Rooms are very small and noisy, beds are uncomfortable, service is average. Reception staff will say one thing but will deliver something else - for example, the laundry service. We also stayed at Cuzco Plaza II and this is much better on all counts.

It's an alright hotel for the price, but my room was right above the breakfast room and there were some very early, very noisy risers. Hotel does have computer for guest use, and location is convenient, and my room was big enough and clean - others in party had smaller, darker rooms so if you get one of these, ask... More

Cusco Plaza I is an amazing hotel that everyone should stay at while they visit the town. Just minutes from the main town center, the location offers ample food, shopping, and drinking options for any age group. There are tons of travel agencies right by the hotel which is perfect for visitors to explore the town and the Sacred Valley.... More
