We recently spent our first four days in Cusco at Casa de Campo. This hotel sits on the side of a hill in the San Blas area of Cusco and has great views of the city. It has very interesting architecture - I'm guessing that it has expanded as business allowed - and the result is a number of rooms... More

We had a great time staying here at Casa de Campo in Cusco. The rooms were very home grown, fun, artistic and comfortable. We had a fireplace in our room where the staff lit a fire for us on 2 nights. Great breakfasts every morning in a glass enclosed room with stunning views of Cusco below.

As a group of 6, (a couple and 4 boys - 3 teenagers and 1 preteen), we had rooms 11 and 12 at Casa de Campo for 3 nights, with one night away between the second and third nights. I had made reservations at this hotel prior to reading reviews about it. After reading the reviews, I decided to keep... More

The hotel is a bit disorganized. We booked a superior room, a suite, and they gave us a standart room. At the check out time the hotel wanted to charge for the more expensive room. Besides, we had to fight in order to have a parking lot (the booking website shows the parking to be free!). It has many stairs... More

Upon arriving in Cusco, our choice in out of the way hotels was confirmed as the taxi drivers from the airport insisted on charging a higher rate to get there. We refused no less than three different drivers (all offering the same S./45 price) before the last one tricked us into agreeing to the exact same price. The hotel is... More

If you stay here, you'll be glad you did. Its that enchantingly pretty. The entire property perches at the top of the San Blas district (think wayyy uphill) and sprawls up a steep hillside through gardens, trees, and small banconesque patios. Each room is like a little treehouse. Echoing the Incan aesthetic but with more modern, rustic, romantic leanings, the... More

We had reserved the Superior suite about 2 months in advance, based on photos, in favour to enjoy a hot jacuzzi and a warm fireplace after the Inca trail - nothing worked! Hotel staff wasnt able to rectify problem and ruined evening of relaxation while wettening the room and floor with water from the shower hose - an accident apparently.... More

We spend 2 nights in Casa de Campo. We loved having fire in the fire place ! The view from our room and from the breackfast room is gorgeous. It is a pity that the hotel is a bit noisy in teh morning. The staff has been helpfull and very kind to us.

OK, we knew about the steps. We did not know that we would have to go down almost all of them to get breakfast or use the internet. There was a fire place in our room, and it was great to sit by it and drink a glass of wine while looking at the view. But the fire did not... More

We stayed two nights in April in room #32. The review is lengthy but I try to capture those two days b/c they were memorable. The room: The room itself has wood floors and is multilevel. Probably hasn't been renovated in 10-15 years. Beds on top floor and the living and bathroom on the lower level. No views of Cuzco... More
