This hotel is mostly outdoors. A beautiful garden overlooking gorgeous Cusco acts as a "lobby," and rooms surround the garden on two floors from all sides. There are plenty of areas for people to sit and chat. Tea is always available near reception, and delicious breakfast is served from 6:00-9:30 every morning. The woman who oversaw breakfast was very attentive,... More

Tika Wasi is a very pretty hostel with stunning views of Cusco, located in the historic centre of the town. The staff working at the hostel were incredibly nice and helpful, providing exceptional customer service. Overall, the price was fair and I would recommend the hostel. On the other hand, our room was cold and the heater did not work.... More

We stayed here twice, either side of our trip to Machu Picchu and it was a great base from which to explore Cusco and the Sacred Valley. The hotel is kept very clean and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fairly simple but sufficient, with very nice coffee. After reading other reviews we upgraded to a... We regard this as about the best place we stayed in during our month in South America. The property is scrupulously clean and well presented. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It's a short but steep walk from Plaza de Armas. The gardens are lovely and there are a number of pleasant areas for guests' use. Breakfast is tasty... More

My friends and I spent 3 nights at tika wasi. The location couldn't be better, staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is sufficient and the part I loved the most is the themed rooms. Common aereas are very cosy, you can enjoy a good time there just sipping a good mate or a cup of coffee. I can strongly... More

The garden, flowers, 5 comfortable common areas, dedicated and hardworking staff, excellent breakfast, interesting artwork, San Blas location (upscale bohemian), cleanliness, 24 hr tea set up, logistic help from staff, value for your dollar..We stayed a few days and returned for another 4. Our expectations at this price were fully realized and then some. There are a few similar hostels... More

Pulled up in the taxi having just driven past a pile of rubbish at the end of the street. Friendly greeting from the staff and then shown to our room. A room without windows. So beware of this point when booking here. The room also had a babies cot in it. Told them this was not the room we booked... More

When the Taxi pulled up to the hole in the wall that was the entrance, i thought Oh dear what have I done. However when i walked in and saw the lovely gardens and spectacular views of Cuzco I was delighted. My room have a panoramic view over the city and was clean and very comfortable. The two notable things... More

We loved this place! Tiki Wasi is a great little hotel tucked on a cute street about a 10 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. This is not necessarily a luxury hotel but we found it lovely, clean, and very welcoming. We booked a deluxe room and found that it was newly renovated and very tastefully decorated. The big... I found this place a welcome surprise. Taking the taxi in from the airport you wonder "what have I gotten into here". But once you enter, the hotel is is very very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is quiet, clean and well kept. There is a very pretty courtyard. Breakfast was good, with a variety of local... More
