We really liked Hostal Tika Wasi. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we also enjoyed the always available coca tea. It's a quick 10-15 min walk downhill to the Plaza de Armas, and the uphill walk isn't bad at all. The steakhouse that they recommend is amazing, go there! Also, walk slowly the first day or two to... This is a well presented and looked after hotel tjat will put you in a good spot for exploring Cusco. Not too far to walk to the main areas and plenty of restaurants around. Rooms are clean, if not a touch of the chilly side. Breakfast is fine, basic but will do the trick. A word of warning, use the... More

Amazing location in the best part of Cusco. Away from the crowds with amazing little restaurants serving proper food and brilliant views. Staff were simply amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Great hotel to enjoy a few days looking round Cusco before the Inca trek.

Common areas are extremely cold. Room was better, not as cold, we kept the heater on, slept with pjs and used all blankets. Went for breakfast.. All tables were dirty, no one had pick up, clean after used. I had to clean a table and move plates glasses cups etc to make space for us to eat. Eat, eat what?... More

A wonderful hotel, with beautiful rooms and common areas, including gardens, wonderful views, artful touches, a comfortable breakfast room with fresh fruit and an ample buffet, professional and well trained staff, extremely helpful front desk staff (especially Diana), impeccably clean and well managed. I LOVED this hotel and recommend it highly! I also enjoyed the neighborhood, San Blas, which is... More

Tika Wasi is an adorable boutique hotel in the San Blas neighborhood of Cusco. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The spa bathroom delivers plenty of hot water. The grounds are picturesque. Most of the accommodations around Cusco square are up hill. You will get plenty of... More

We stayed two nights at Hostal Tika Wasi. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the san blas neighborhood. The hotel is on a hill and so walking up to the hotel especially given Cusco's altitude can be quite challenging. The positive side of being on a hill is that the views where excellent. The service provided by... More

The hotel is deceptively large with rooms on different levels around a lovely garden area. Great views over the City of Cusco.Although they don't have a restaurant, there are plenty of places in and around San Blas. The staff are very helpful in arranging almost anything.

I thought this was an excellent hostel. While the room may have felt a little bare-bones (expected in a hostel), they really decorated it in a cool way that made it feel more special. Both the room and bathroom were very clean, and I had no problem getting hot water. We faced the lovely courtyard, so at night it got... More

Located in San Blas area, a little walk from Main square but safe and very clean place. We left our luggage here before heading to Machu Picchu. We made the payment for all the trip at the end of the stay even though we were out for a few days. We stayed in room 13& room 18, both were clean... More
