Upon arriving, such hospitality! Check in was a breeze and the receptionist very informative. Our triple room was beautiful with a great bathroom (nice water pressure) and a small patio with table for relaxing. Super comfy beds and a heater to take the edge off the cold nights. The courtyard is clean and full of colors. There are many seating... More

Such a comfortable boutique hostal in San Blas area of Cusco. Staff is so friendly and considerate - muchas gracias! Superior rooms have beautiful views overlooking Cusco. In September, it was chilly at night, but fine with the provided space heater. Bathrooms were clean and modern, hot water on demand. Sacsayhuaman Ruins, Plaza de Armas, and loads of restaurants/shops are... More

This little boutique hotel (I won't call it a hostal) was one of the best I've ever booked, the staff was very welcoming and really concerned about me and my health, this because it is known that when you visit Cuzco you may suffer from altitude sickness. They receive you with coca tea, and insisted to take your luggage to... More

I stayed at Tika Wasi several nights before and after trips away from Cusco. It is located about a 10 minute walk to the main Plaza de Armas with lots of small restaurants and markets around, but less noise than the main square. Smaller cars can go right to the door, but larger vehicles cannot so be aware that you... More

Cusco lodgings can be quite expensive and we found this place perfect and reasonable price. Nice, clean and helpful staff, comfortable rooms with a space heater for the cold nights, quiet and very pleasant grounds. Excellent breakfast daily. We had a room on the back street side it was quiet but ask for a view room that might be nicer.... More

We had a great time staying here. It was comfortable, clean, good breakfast, great location. Our first room (we stayed twice on either end of our Inca Trail trek) was a bit chilly and noisy, but even still we liked it. The staff went out of their way to light a fire in the main room so we could sit... More

This hostel has a very great atmosphere. When you go inside from the sliding door from the street, you will see a small quiet garden with a lot of comfortable places to sit. The staff is very helpful, polite and flexible. The prices are alright, not if you are a backpacker and trying to spend as less money as possible.... More

My travel group stayed at the Tika Wasi a total of three days during our June 2014 trip to Peru. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms were sparkling. There were 3 outlets for charging electronics in the room, and one in the bathroom. Breakfast was included and consisted of eggs, breakfast meats, cheese, granola, yogurt, jams, fresh fruits,... We stayed at Hostal Tika Wasi for a total of three nights. The location is convenient to the town and sights and the rooms and food were great. I have to say, though, that the best part of the stay was the staff. They were all friendly and helpful and took great care of us. If I return to Cusco,... More

We stayed hete for 4 nights. Overall it was great. The room was funny though...we stayed in number 13 which is decorated like a kids room. I believe all their rooms are different. It was clean and comfy, hot water at all times. They provide tea and overall great service. Breakfast was fine, eggs, fruits, cereals. The garden area is... More
