We couldn't thank enough the staff of the hotel who arranged our luggage to be brought from another El Dorado hotel to this hotel ( they have 2 hotels almost the same name), we couldn't carry it anymore because of the high altitude, I was breathless & nearly need an oxygen but thank God, I was ok after a little... The location is very central where you can walk to the main square and enjoy every nice thing to do in Cuzco. The hotel is on a old building very well maintained which gives a different and cozy atmosphere. The rooms are very good, nice beds and bathroom.

The hotel lobby has a somewhat dated, though warm, touch. Had two stays separated by two days when we went to Machu Picchu. The hotel stored our bags. Rooms were fine - the second stay yielded one that was quite spectacular. The staff at the reception did not want to be bothered - they were certainly not rude, but did... More

We stay for two nights than we arrived to Peru and before we hike the Inca Trail. Good rooms, great breakfest and a very good location! But, than we come back from the Inca Trail, for two more nights at the hotel, it was impossible to found our booking. The stuff in the reception was not so helpful and instead... More

Stayed at this hotel with Gate1 tour, so don't know the price charged per night. This hotel had a great location. Walked everywhere. Staff was very friendly. Only advise: try to get a room away from elevators, since the hallways were noisy.

This hotel is referenced as a **** hotel, but not for foreigners ! We wend 2 times in Cuzco, in this hotel. The first time, we had a small room with a 1m80 bed, in a room with a small window opening on the central hall. This hall is very noisy, and the window was not closing very well. A... More

It´s a pity. The place was really beautiful, a perfect mix between modern and rustic. Great and efficient staff, excellent food and a perfect location (two blocks from the Cathedral and its gorgeus square). But the quality of sleep was so poor that I can´t give them a better rating. The hotel is a big cube, and most of the... More

Located on Ave El Sol which puts you close enough to everything you need. 5-10 minutes walk and you are at the main square of all the shopping, churches, restaurants, banks for currency exchanges. There are police everywhere so very safe to walk around even at night (just use your common sense). If your rooms are facing the inner atrium,... More

I visited this hotel in October and was pleasantly surprised. I had stayed at another of the San Augustin hotels in Lima and wasn't impressed. The location is excellent and I really enjoyed the courtyard and glass elevator that whisked me up to my room. The breakfast was definitely so-so - very standard for this area. The location is excellent... More

First of all the positives - Convenient location, reception staff were helpful, bar is quite cosy and staff helpful, nice lounge Now for the rest, warts and all, we were given a room initially that was extremely noisy, windowless and claustophic. The safe didn't work and couldn't be fixed until the next day. We asked if we could move and... More
