Nice courtyard with all the character of Cusco. We saw native Pachamama hawking their woven clothing items to help you keep warm. The cute baby alpaca was definitely a crowd pleaser and the ladies smilingly obliged for pictures Room was huge even for triple sharing with 3 proper single beds. The bathroom vent was super cold though and couldn't be... More

This hotel is in a great location, just a few short blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The rooms are of good size, clean, and the beds comfortable. The front desk staff could be more helpful and friendly, but overall, this is a good place to stay.

Just about a 1/2 hours drive from Cusco's Airport, this hotel is situated within walking distance of the city's main square and all its attractions. By a quirk of circumstances, I was given a single double bedded room all to myself (although I was supposed to share a twin bedded with one of my travelling companions. ) The room was... More

Great facility in the middle of Cusco. Good and spacious rooms. great look of the city and quiet atmosphere. The breakfast is phenomenal but the service attitude is much less. The lethargic service will deter your expectations...!Don't worry, you can always think positive...!

We checked in twice in this hotel (before and after Machu Picchu). First visit the room was large but no view at all and all kitchen smells came into the room. Very clean though and comfortabel bed. Second time we got a really great suite (Again good beds and very clean). Presumably because our backpacks (make sense if travelling in... More

Hotel is in a great location pretty much around the corner from the Plaza Del Armas. Lots to walk to in the local area. Hotel itself is a solid 3 star despite its frequent billing as a 4 star. We stayed in 2 suites in the colonial section which were huge albeit a bit out of date. The rooms facing... More

This hotel had great sized rooms, even the 'standard double' was good. Rooms were clean with good facilities, spa bath, and large shower (head). Whole location had a great feel to it, large restaurant area, close to all shops and taxis were readily available. Would definitely stay there next time in Cuzco

Booked thru a tour company and they had advertised the Casa Andina Private Collection Hotel, then put us in the Ramada, so we didn't feel we were getting what we had paid for at all. I will say that it was in a nice central location, close to eating, shopping, etc. Rooms were dark and clammy and the bathrooms were... More

This place is great. From the moment we arrived to our departure, we were made to feel at home. As a platinum member of SPG, the hotel voluntarily upgraded us to a junior suite. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which consisted of ala carte options and a buffet ( we opted to eat a little... More

Excellent room; good food; excellent service and help with printing boarding passes; many wonderful recommendations for activities and restaurants. Lots of information about local celebrations in July. Cusco (Qosqo) can pose an altitude problem for some. I was welcomed with Cocoa tea, and information about assistance I might need in that regard. The hotel, staff, restaurant staff were wonderful. There... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Costa del Sol Picoaga is located in a colonial-era mansion that is considered part of the cultural heritage of the city of Cusco. The building dates back to the 17th century, when the Marquis de Picoaga arrived in the city and built himself a new home, employing stonework and murals. The hotel is divided between a colonial wing and a contemporary wing, combining stone archways, a beautiful patio, a fountain and original murals dating from the architecture of the 17th century with all the comforts of a modern, contemporary hotel. The rooms have been designed for the comfort of the guests and are spacious, peaceful and fully equipped. They have Wi-Fi internet connections, cable television, direct dial telephones, safe deposit boxes and a mini-bar. The hotel conserves all the beauty of an old colonial mansion and provides the welcoming service that will make you feel special during every day of your stay with us. ... more   less
