Everything was good--the courtyard was nice and had a Peruvian woman set up all day selling her wares, but without the pressure….she has a sweet little lamb that is her friend which was fun to see, especially for kids. Nice place.

The only way to get in and out of Machu Picchu is to go through Cuzco first, and then take a 3.5-hours train or bus to the ancient citadel. This hotel is fully prepared for such tourists. Cuzco is higher altitude than MP and altitude sickness is common here. So the Ramada staff provides arriving guests with free cocoa tea... More

This is a nice hotel that is centrally locate to many of the activities of Cusco. We went during the Inti Raymi festival and found the hotel more than adequate for our needs and well situated to be close enough to the festivities but far enough away not to be strangled by the crowds of the festival.

Mixed comments for the hotel. Good location, nice old property and ok service. Old section is where it is worth staying, otherwise go somewhere else. However if you are a large family the family rooms are not very well designed so be sure to understand the layout. The ladies selling local crafts and textiles with the baby lamb are amazing!!!!

We stayed in a suite, amazing buffet breakfast, welcome cocktail very good, when lunch and dinner, I followed the instructions of the Chef, I never disappoint, on the contrary was amazing the level of their dishes, loved the wines offered, and the fruit basket that we were in the room, which I regret not having had more days to enjoy... Hotel is built around courtyards of old colonial mansion close to city centre. Older period rooms are available but the modern ones are comfortable and quiet so offer good value. Hotel stores bags for you if visiting the sacred valley. We had two rooms, staying both before and after a visit to Sacred Valley, both comfortable and warm, Cusco was... More

Cuzco as a city breathes Spanish colonial history; The Costa del Sol is no exception with its classic central court yard. The grand entry quickly shrank to narrow floors and small rooms. June is the Peruvian winter: evenings and nights are quite chilly (sometimes close to freezing point) but there is no heating in the rooms or restaurant; to escape... More

The hotel is in a convenient location near the Plaza de Armas. The breakfast is varied and the rooms are very clean. The staff is kind and the reception once you arrive is exceptional. They help you with your bags and then let you sit down. Then you just fill in some paperwork and they take you to you room

Centrally located within walking distance to everything. The hotel has a lovely central courtyard with an Incan feel about it. The restaurant is well decorated & comfortable and offers a good breakfast. We stayed on 2 separate occasions. The first time, although our room was large it was very standard, except for the beautiful new bathroom. On our second visit... More

Overall a very nice hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Our room the first night we stayed there was on the first floor overlooking the courtyard. It got a little noisy with early morning check outs. The room was large and clean, it had a mini fridge/ bar, hair dryer. My biggest complaint with the hotel was our 2nd night stay.... More
