I had 3 nights here and I loved the feel of it. Cold for this time of year so take layers. Staff were excellent. I had a trip cancelled (nothing to do with the hotel) and they made sure I got to Machu Picchu by finding out train times and organizing a taxi to a train station 2 hours away.... More

My cohort stayed here during our developing country capstone to our Executive MBA trip. The hotel was classic Cusco. The rooms were beautiful and clean. We took great photos in the courtyard by the fountain, which we fell in love with. At night, from the second floor, you can clearly see Blanco Cristo. One night, we ate in the restaurant.... More

I have personally never in my life asked to switch hotel rooms upon checking in, and we switched rooms twice at this hotel. My husband and I stayed here as part of a package deal for two nights at the end of our vacation to Peru. This was supposed to be the "relaxing" part of our trip, but ended up... More

We stayed here as part of a package through a local travel agent. Wish we had stayed elsewhere. The hotel is basic, nothing fancy, but the beds are ROCK HARD. They put 2 double beds together so the beds are short-sheeted, and if you are used to sleeping with your spouse, they are yards away. The linens were constantly coming... More

Great location about a block and a half from the central plaza. Quite a historic building. Stayed here for 2 nights (Room 126) ; really nice room - ground floor opening onto the centre courtyard, room quite large and well appointed ... quite amusing being woken by a lamb bleating in the courtyard. This room and fit-out I would rate... More

Thank you for your comments, At the Colonial Zone we have different kind of rooms, it´s because the house had 300 years old. All your rooms have Safety Box into the closet. Thank you very much! More

We stayed here most of a week, leaving for one night to go to Machu Picchu, then returning to the same room. We were fortunate to be upgraded to the matrimonial suite, a spacious room on the first floor (room 123) with a super-comfy king-sized bed and a tile-covered bathroom almost as big as the bedroom. The room rate included... More

We stayed here for two nights, then left for Machu Picchu for two days, then returned for another two night stay. The place has many positives. First, the location was very convenience, we were about three blocks from the main square. Second, the hotel and rooms were very nice, roomy. For our first two nights, we had a room at... More

We stayed here for three nights. The first two nights we were on the second floor of the old building. Our room was large and beautiful. The last night we stayed in the new part of the hotel. Our room was a bit smaller, but quieter. The hotel is an old mansion and very special. It is located a block... More

After a flight to the Amazon was cancelled, our carrier (Avianca) put us up in Costa del Sol for a night, and it almost made up for our missed night of adventures in the Amazon. The room was great, wifi was reliable, and the meals in the restaurant were excellent. The highlight was the pisco sours, which our man in... More

The pictures do not do this hotel justice. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. I loved the courtyard and the staff is friendly. Food is good too! The hotel is just a short distance to the Plaza del Armas too!
