We were incredibly fortunate to be staying at this wonderful facility both before and after visiting Machu Picchu. Our two days and then a third day were THE most comfortable days of our trip. We marveled at the art work on the walls, we marveled at the spotless 'windows' that were so clean as to be invisible to us as... More

If we had to choose, this hotel would take the prize. It is beautiful. A Spanish colonial monastery built above Inca walls. A surreal experience just walking to your room. Make sure you have a look in the hotel's own chapel. Food was excellent. Had an amazing dinner with opera singers on one night. Good location, close to the main... More

Beautiful hotel in restored monastery.Gardens were superb and breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day.Our room though was on the 3rd floor with a sloping roof and small windows and felt claustrophobic, bathroom was spacious.Other rooms are much bigger,so if possible request larger room.Staff were exceptional.

The Belmond Hotel Monasterio in Cusco is simply the BEST place to stay when touring ancient Incan ruins in Peru or just relaxing in the Andes. My wife and I found the rooms to be spacious, quite, and well appointed. The staff is nothing short of OUTSTANDING. The concierge staff is thoughtful, well informed, and eager to please. The lead... This is a wonderful hotel. From the moment of arrival to departure (4 days), the staff took care of every need we had. We were upgraded to a presidential suite which was one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. The courtyards are beautiful and all restaurants serve great food. The hotel is centrally located in the city... More

This hotel has to be seen to be believed, we were greeted in the chapel with welcoming drinks and then a walk through the beautiful arched walkways to our room. Our room was beautifully appointed with artworks on the wall and a sumptuous bathroom and a bed I wish we could take everywhere with us. The staff are what can... More

Superb in every way, service, rooms, food and location. The hotel is in an excellent location just 5 minutes walk from the main square in Cusco, where there are many excellent restaurants to sample the local cuisine. It is an excellent place to acclimatise to the altitude prior to visiting Machu Picchu. The staff could not have been more helpful... More

Great rooms with L'occitane amenities, comfortable king bed and luxury bed linen, great and helpful staff and very relaxing ambients. You can enjoy a luxury classic hotel but feeling the atmosphere of an antique monastery and art school (many interesting paints, and an art tour is nice to understand it). The opera night is fantastic and the breakfast simply amazing!... More

From the moment you are picked up at the airport and for your entire stay, this hotel pampers you and makes you feel on top of the world.
