Oh My! Everything from our entrance to this magnificent hotel through the opulent cathedral-style chapel, to the beautiful gardens, to hearing the chanting by monks as you walk through the corridors, to dinner in the 5 star restaurant while being serenaded by opera singers, to spacious and comfortable rooms was exquisite. The rain shower and separate tub were especially welcome... More

From the moment you step into the cathedral reception area to the beautifully decorated rooms, this hotel is above and beyond. We had the pleasure of staying two nights and enjoyed the many amenities they had to offer. Such as free oxygen when needed for altitude issues (just ask at the front desk), discounts at the bar, hair dryers, two... More

This was a truly great stop en route to Machu Pichu and on the return trip. The property has the feel of an Iberian hotel. It retains the high Spanish elegance. The rooms are very simple but comfortable. The restaurants are good and the staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. While at this hotel, you lose track of the hustle... More

This hotel is simply beautiful, their service is impeccable and their public spaces are stunning. Rooms were a bit small for my liking, but the restaurant made up for it....who would have thought the best chateaubriand I've ever had would be in Cusco, Peru??

The rooms are very large, modern and comfortable. Aside from the traffic making it a little difficult to reach this hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Food and service exceeds expectations. Several nights a week one of the hotel restaurants features a pretty good tenor and soprano entertaining with well known love duets. The front desk is extremely courteous,... More

It's a gorgeous hotel you'll fall in love with at first sight! Concierge was extremely helpful with restaurant-recommendation & reservations, and help with luggage. Breakfast had a wide selection, and one morning, with live guitar entertainment. Wi-fi signal was poor when we're staying in the Basement Level, and was much better when we stayed again on the 2nd floor.

I chose to open the wallet and indulge when I booked this hotel. I also wanted to be somewhere beautiful while we adjusted to the altitude on arrival to Cusco from Chile. If we were going to be sick and bedridden, we may as well be somewhere luxurious with access to oxygen and good hospitality. We managed to get a... More

Beautiful place, decorated with old Cuscan paintings. Be sure to visit the second patio and the gorgeous chapel. The hotel also offers what's possibly the best desayuno in town – the quinoa pancakes are just delicious. There's an old luxury charm to the place, built over a restored 16th century monastery. Some of the rooms are in old closings... and... More

The Hotel Monasterio is one of the finest hotels we've stayed worldwide. The location, building and service are second to none. Do not miss the opportunity to try the Pisco & Ceviche tasting in the hotel bar. Diego and the bar team led us through an informative and delicious journey. We tried three different Piscos, three pisco cocktails and three... More

What a beautiful historic hotel in Cusco. We just stayed for two nights in this lovely hotel. You can feel the serenity and the past history of this former monastery while staying here. The rooms are very comfortable and charming. The gardens in the courtyards are beautiful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and dinner at the restaurant was a delicious... More
