This is the best hotel we stayed in during our vacation to Peru this past July. They were nothing but accommodating but not stuffy for a moment. The entire staff was polite, talkative, and all around amable. I was actually alone in Cusco for a bit because my parents had missed their connecting flights to Cusco from Ecuador putting them... In March of 2014 we went on the Lindblad National Geographic expedition to the Galápagos and Peru. It was an amazing trip. Lindblad and National Geographic took care of everything (almost) with impeccable style and care. Day 14 and 15 were spent at the Monasterio Hotel in Cusco Peru. The hotel is a real treat. It's centrally located enabling you... More

Expectations are high when you go to a 5 star hotel and the Monasterio will definitely not disappoint you. The setting in a colonial monastery is beautiful, with the internal patios impeccably presented gardens and rows of stone arches. The service is consistently outstanding and the staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. The breakfast buffet is very... More

This is the kind of place to experience at least once in a life time. If you want to feel like royalty for a few nights, this would be the place. 100% worth it. The, staff, the accommodations, the food and beverages... And oh yea, it's and old monistary! This makes it an especially special stay.

The massage room is small and street noise can be heard from the table. However, after a long trek to Machu Picchu, the massage was exactly what I needed. The massage was professional and the pressure was perfect. Three different people complimented me on "looking so fresh...vibrant...calm" after the hour was over. I wish this hotel offered more spa options... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and wished I could have stayed longer. The hotel has incredible character in that it was built in the late 1800's as a Spanish monastery and retains the original character. All rooms open out onto a central courtyard and gardens that are truly beautiful. My room was beautiful and very spacious. Service... More

Aesthetically magnificent, located near the center. They have created a real atmosphere, with liturgic music playing constantly and a very elegant decor. The service is impeccable, and the restaurant very good. A must for hedonists.
