I went with my family, two children who are young teens. My son got altitude sickness and the hotel was very accommodating and helpful. Amazing place to stay and I would recommend it to everyone. Very much worth it to visit.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Cuzco. The room was not large but the beds were marvelous. The staff was excellent and the food was superb. Because Cuzco is at such a high altitude, we suffered from headaches the first two days we were in the city. Fortunately the hotel is convenient to shops and restaurants. An... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and have to confess that it was one of the most unique hotel experiences that we have experienced. The location is perfect - one block from the main square. The staff are superb - efficient charming and above all extremely authentic. The food and drink were fabulous. However the thing that really... More

After arriving in a rainy evening from Machu Picchu, the lobby was large and expansive. We were told that because of the altitude of Cusco at 10K+ feet, we could have oxygen to help us cope. We were assigned to a large room that had a separate entry way that led to a king size bed room and also into... More

This amazing hotel was a 1692 monastery. The lobby boasts gorgeous floors, high beamed ceilings, rich colors, and perfect service. Our room was a junior suite that had 2 beds downstairs and another upstairs. The colors of the room were lovely and the window had the most amazing painted fresco surrounding it. This is old world charm at its very... More

We had 9 nights in this amazing hotel. The place is incredible! The service is over the top wonderful. We had both a Jr. Suite and the Presidential Suite. Both rooms were so amazing, its hard to top them. The buffet breakfast was incredible everyday. You will love the paintings, the old feel of the building, the cleanliness, the beauty,... More

This was our favorite hotel in Peru. We even stayed at the Machu Picchu Santuary Lodge. They are both Belmond properties. Definitely a 5 star property. We were a little woozy after arriving in Cusco, but didn't need to have extra oxygen pumped into our room. We had a two story room that included a loft with a separate king... More

Beautiful hotel!! An old, converted monastery that echos the charm of cusco. It almost feels like a museum, or a sight within itself. When I was here, Bill & Melinda gates were also staying here - super cool, but also super annoying because my mum literally stayed up way past her bed time waiting to see them come back from... More

This is the best hotel we stayed in during our vacation to Peru this past July. They were nothing but accommodating but not stuffy for a moment. The entire staff was polite, talkative, and all around amable. I was actually alone in Cusco for a bit because my parents had missed their connecting flights to Cusco from Ecuador putting them... In March of 2014 we went on the Lindblad National Geographic expedition to the Galápagos and Peru. It was an amazing trip. Lindblad and National Geographic took care of everything (almost) with impeccable style and care. Day 14 and 15 were spent at the Monasterio Hotel in Cusco Peru. The hotel is a real treat. It's centrally located enabling you... More
