Service was awesome!!! The hotel is unique with a lot of history. The atmosphere, the paintings, every single part of the hotel. Breakfast was really good, with a lot of options. I spent 2 days here and they made my honeymoon unforgettable

What a magnificent stay! I couldn't have had a more amazing stay. Beautiful hotel, yummy yummy breakfast, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Stayed here before and after the Choquequirao trek, (I figure everyone must ask to leave their belongings at the hotels in between times, but we left ours in the room, came back, and everything... Spent two nights here in this lovely hotel with its beautiful grounds and facilities. Our room was small but had a wonderful view of the city, especially at sunrise. The breakfast buffet is good and we enjoyed a delicious dinner one of the nights we were here. My husband and I shared the Chateaubriand which was prepared perfectly. The next... More

This is more than a hotel, is a historical gem in Cuzco. From the moment you enter and you can perceive a magic atmosphere that transports you to another place. The staff is incredibly friendly all the time. Especially the concierge will always have an answer and smile for the guest. Our room was perfect with all quality items, including... More

A brilliant experience. A superb hotel, upmarket, very well maintained despite being a former monastery. Idiosyncratic rooms with oxygen supplied thru air conditioning if required ( to address the problem some have with altitude sickness) , its own lavish chapel, a brilliant breakfast, and even better restaurant for dinner. Attentive service. Walking distance to the square in Cusco

A very large hotel in a old historic Monastery. it is everything you would want. A variety of rooms for every taste ours was fantastic. All modern amenities with little if any quirks of an old historic building. Staff was friendly and very responsive. WiFi was spotty though. Great location near center square that has multiple restaurants and bars as... More

This is an amazing location and the hotel staff is most helpful. Had a decent breakfast each morning, but dinner there had poor service and food. Might want to check - because some rooms don't have AC and not all have oxygen systems available in the room. They will provide you 5-10 minutes on oxygen at the front desk complimentary.

The Hotel Monasterio is a " jewel" Perfectly situated in Cusco, a charming town rich in history and culture. The hotel is exquisitely appointed and richly surrounded by original artwork created by the local indigenous and anonymous Artist's of the 16th and 17th Century. The reception and overall feel of the hotel is warm, welcoming and steeped in history as... More

This was an exceptional hotel. The service can not possibly be matched. From the simplest of requests the staff go all out to ensure your comfort. This is a trip back in time a you walk the historic hallways of this former monastery. The only issue is their is no AC in many of the rooms but they will bring... More

The hotel is a 16th century monastery, converted into a beautiful hotel with modern facilities. Its location is in the heart of Cusco at 11,000 feet. The outer hallways are filled with Gregorian chants, and a beautiful chapel sits outside the inner courtyard. The service is very European (somewhat formal), bilingual and detail oriented. The staff goes out of the... More
