Sophisticated, historic, quality, great location and exceptional service. What more do you want. Breakfast can be taken in the restaurant or in the courtyard under an umbrella. We were all impressed with the three Belmond hotels we stayed at in Peru! We have the website for the chain and will visit more Belmond hotels.

I stayed there for 3 days and it is totally overpriced. The service is nice but nothing compared to my last stay on a Belmond hotel: at Villa San Michelle. First we arrived and received an upgrade to a Junior Suite: nice, except the fact the room is street faced and really noisy. Also the room has stairs and considering... More

Part of the hotel are in old Monastery; extensions are relatively modern. We had two rooms booked in the main old Courtyard. The rooms we were initially provided were on separate floors. Both my children were sick, when we asked for nearby rooms they moved us into a newer looking extension which was not the same ambiance. The rooms did... More

This was my 5th stay at the hotel in the last 10 years. I have always loved this place, and still do. I stayed with three other friends in 2 rooms at the tail end of a 9 day trip to Peru. I wanted the last 2 nights stay to be like the rest of our trip - we had... More

Nice property in place of old monastery. Lovely breakfast area in the courtyard, feels like its different time with the colonial architechture and paintings. Rooms are a little small, well it used to be monastery so makes sense:) Nice lobby bar area, professional attentive service. It does seem to be quite popular as it always had lots of people in... We stayed here only for 2 nights and I wished we could stay longer. The hotel is an old monastery and all the decoration is made according to that. They have a church inside the hotel and it still functions. It is marvelous place with an unforgettable courtyard as well. We could only have breakfasts which were superb( their breads... More

While expensive for Peru, this was also one of the nicest properties we saw in Cuzco. Their location is also amazing. The food was very good and the service was good (not great). Try to have a meal in the garden. Their lounge is also very nice. They have some great gluten free options too.

We stayed at the Belmond for the last two nights of our Mother-Daughter Peru trip after exploring the Sacred Valley and Machu Piccu. This hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Once a monastery, they turned it into a quiet, peaceful and luxurious hotel right in the city center. The grounds, facilities and rooms were first class. The rooms were comfortable and clean... From the moment we arrived, it was obvious how wonderful the staff was. We were shown to a comfortable sofa while the staff checked us in. The grounds are beautifully cared for and there is a luxurious hush around the property. Our standard room was roomy and plush with extremely comfortable bedding, pillows and bath amenities. Breakfast each day was... More

After three breathtaking days in the Sacred Valley and at Machu Pichu, we came in to Cusco to stay for two nights at the Belmond Monasterio. The facilities, food and service were all amazing, world class! A special shout out to the dining staff - they were so professional, warm and on top of their game. In particular, one of... More
