Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, 2 nights each side of a 2 night visit to Machu Picchu. Hotel is located in a very long and narrow one way street about a 15 to 20 minute drive from the airport and a 5 to 7 minute fairly flat walk from the main square. Taxis and tourist buses picking up... More

We thought the ambiance was great, the food excellent and the service outstanding. Room was a bit small but clean. Bathroom counter was small and not much room to place toiletries. Sheets were not as soft as I would expect from a hotel of this quality.

Rooms are smallish, quiet and and nicely decorated; staff super friendly. Bed okay. Big breakfast from 4:30am in hotel restaurant to allow for early flights. The hotel is built around an impressive central colonial courtyard with a glass roof. If you're staying here and need laundry, highly recommend Inversiones Magui - a hole-in-the-Inca-block-wall just up the street from the entrance.... More

This property had been a convent many years earlier and Novotel has kept some of the rooms on the upper levels more like the older times.Enquire when booking if this interests you.... Beautifully appointed courtyard as you arrive where you can enjoy breakfast/drinks etc throughout your stay. Our room was modern and comfy beds with good view of Cusco township.... More

This hotel is very well located in the Cusco Township...... close to restaurants, sites and shopping. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. Staff are great and helpful when we organised our tour of 'Machu Picchu'. We left our 'Large' bags in staorage at the hotel when we left for Machu Picchu which eliminated carting all of our belongings... More

A sound medium priced, mid-range hotel in a great location in central Cusco. Just a few minutes easy walk to the main square and well located in the old colonial part of town. Nice central courtyard, well renovated. Food ok but nothing fancy.

I was quite happy with the hotel location but equally disappointed with the hotel's polices to only provde bottled water in the room for the first night only (we stayed 3 nights) and with the front desk that would not do a currecy exchange of US$ to Peru Solles. I do a great deal of international travel and this is... More

You can't beat the location of this hotel -- right in the heart of Cusco within walking distance of the main square and all shopping areas and museums. Very safe location and easy to get around. This is a very historic building that has been renovated by the hotel chain -- it's kept much of its historic look in the... More

Fabulous hotel with large rooms and free Internet with a very strong signal. Central to shops, laundry facilities, restaurants and the many attractions In Cuzco. Great breakfasts with plenty of choices. Free oxygen to help you acclimatise to the altitude. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Location of hotel is good close to the square and restaurants, and historic sites. The breakfast buffet is not very good. They book many group tours and are not prepared to handle them. They ran out of plates and coffee cups. They also ran out of food. The eggs were replaced with runny scrambled eggs. There are not enough tables... More
