The Novotel Cusco is located in central Cusco in an old monastery built on Incan foundations. Very close to the town square, shopping and local attractions. The rooms are on the small side but the buffet breakfast is excellent, the service is great and some rooms have balconies with views over the rooftops of Cusco. An excellent mid-range hotel.

We stayed here one night on the way to Machu Picchu and one night on the return trip. It was very comfortable. Wifi not so fast. It is a good location, safe, with amenities and plenty of bottled water every day. It was, however, loud. Our room was facing a courtyard out back - but interestingly enough it was just... More

Absolutely loved my stay at Novotel. Great location near the center of town and close to shops, restaurants and sites to visit. The hotel itself is beautiful: the lobby is like a plaza with cozy places to sit and also the morning buffet breakfast. It also doubles as seating for the restaurant at dinner if you choose. The buffet breakfast... More

Easy walk to the Plaza de Armas and many attractions. Lots of eateries around the area, very safe walking in the area. Lovely breakfast, with a traditional lady doing weaving demonstrations at each meal times with her goods for sale. Staff very helpful in giving directions to the attractions, also supplying maps. Very quiet rooms with large rooms with bath... More

Nice modern hotel with old world charm just minutes from the main square, markets and cathedral. Our room was on the floor above the restaurant which is open...so it was a bit noisy the 1st night due to a conference there. Staff were fabulous and very helpful. Food in the restaurant was good.

On our return from Machu Picchu, we stayed in Novotel hotel. Very nice hotel and I liked the colonial courtyard which reminded me of some the Paradors back in Spain. The room was very clean and quite, with views of houses on the hill. Great location and nothing else to say apart from many thanks to all the staff whom... More

The Novotel Hotel is situated in a great location however, upon a recent stay, we found this was the only thing going for it. My fiancé and I were met at Cusco airport by our travel representative. Whilst being transferred to the hotel, the representative requested some information regarding our room requirements which were then relayed to the hotel.. They... More

The rooms in the "new" wing are rather utilitarian, but quite comfortable. Service is excellent, and the restaurant offers very good food and service. If you suffer from acute mountain sickness, they have free oxygen, which wipes out mild to moderate symptoms after 10 to 15 minutes of treatment (no doctor order needed.) Excellent location, less than 5 minutes walk... More

Stayed for three days and two nights in December. We visited Machu Picchu one day and stayed in Cusco the other two days. This is a lovely hotel. It retains the historic core yet rooms have all Modern amenities. The best feature is the entry /lobby area which has a giant glass atrium/ceiling. You eat breakfast under clear blue Cusco... More
