This Novotel is not typical of chain hotels. It is in an old building located in a narrow old town street within walking distance of the old town centre & restaurants. The entrance courtyard is extremely well done. Breakfast was good - we didn't eat any other meals here. A very upmarket character filled hotel in Peru. Staff were helpful.

This hotel is what you expect from a Novotel. It is centrally located in Cuzco within walking distance of most shops, restaurants and museums. We were upgraded upon arrival and were given one of the colonial rooms which are full of charm and character. All the staff we came into contact with were helpful and Carlos was a great help... More

Having expected to stay in the usual acceptable standard of Novotel accommodation I was pleasantly surprised to find an interesting use and conversion of an older style building. The main lobby leads into an interesting glass roofed atrium, rather like a Moorish courtyard. Further on to the rear are situated modern accommodation rooms, although I understand in the main atrium... More

Stayed 2 nights here April 1-3. Extremely friendly check in agents, some spoke excellent English. I speak some Spanish so could communicate with most workers, but all seem friendly and helpful. At check-in was upgraded to the "colonial rooms" which are situated around the courtyard in the main lobby/entrance area. These rooms are gorgeous, with 10-20 foot ceilings, interesting architecture,... More

Our tour company booked us into the Novotel Cusco before and after we walked the Inca Trail at Machu Picchu. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was given the earlier reviews we had seen on Trip Advisor. The front part of the hotel is old world with a lovely glassed over lobby and rooms that were being renovated.... More

We stayed here for three nights. The main reason for our trip was to visit Mach Picchu. Part of this hotel, the public areas, are very old. There is a large dining and sitting area in the glass covered courtyard which was full of character. However most of the rooms are in new blocks off the old part and are... More

This is a 'tardis-like' hotel, full of charm and character. We stayed in one of their larger 'colonial' style rooms which was extremely spacious, very clean and well equipped. The restaurant provided very tasty local fare and the staff were extremely efficient, helpful and friendly throughout the hotel. Location is A1 for all the attractions Cusco has to offer........and there... More

Nice hotel, great location. Staff very attentive all spoke good English. Room comfortable, good free wifi in all area's. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely courtyard to sit and relax whilst waiting for tour people etc. might be more luxurious 5 start hotels but this was perfect for us and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Convenient location in the the City center. Easy walk to the main Plaza. Some nice shops with reasonable prices nearby. The rooms were clean, modern ("IKEA like") and quiet. Enjoyed the the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety. The glass atrium area of the Hotel is a great place to relax. Complimentary coca tea always available in the lobby... More
