Excellent, one of the best on this trip. Perfect for getting around Cusco, and the courtyard area is ideal for relaxing. Rooms clean and tidy, and a reasonable breakfast available. more

What a great hotel! The accommodations and staff could not have been more pleasant. It's the perfect place to stay whether one or two days at the beginning/end of a trek to Machu Picchu (which was the case for me), or longer. Out of curiosity I stayed in a colonial room at the front end of my trip, and a... more

It was more expensive than most of the hotels in Cusco but well worth the expense. It was very clean and very quiet. It is close to great restaurants and shopping. more

Built in an old 16th Century mansion, the Novotel in Cusco has some very appealing colonial architecture and a stunning central courtyard. The Novotel is relatively new, the service level is high, and the general feel of the hotel is elegant and luxurious. Our room was comfortable, spacious, had quite a high ceiling, and was well-furnished with all of the... more

This is a simple but nice hotel in Cusco; the lobby is very nice (and old) and the staff are friendly, although I don't recommend working through the concierge if you wish to arrange a taxi to Ollantatambo to catch a grain to Machu Picchu. Some of the other travelers staying at the hotel were very loud and rude, which... more

If you're looking for a centralized location with reliable hot water showers, clean and comfortable beds, Novotel Cusco is the place. Just like all major chain hotels, Novotel provides all the amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. We spent 5 nights here, and found it to be a great deal. The open courtyard is lovely, the free internet service is... more

I really enjoyed styaing at this hotel. It was within walking distance to Plaza de Armas. The service we experienced was wonderful. Our room was clean, although it did have a weird smell. We stayed in the colonial section and did not have a problem. My only complaint is that it got pretty chili at night in the room and... more

The service is exceptionally good, they take care of guests as if they were their own family. For children it is a very safe place, no special attractions in the hotel, however a very crompehensive menu for kids. They accept two children in the same room as their parents, which is an exception in the city. Breakfast, internet wifi, and... more
