This was my first time in Cusco, the staff was friendly and willing to help. Breakfast every morning was great. Our room always clean and ready for us to spend our evenings after a hot shower. Staff will deliver a hot water bottle to slip under our covers. This definitely will make my evening. I only have one suggestion, our... More

My boyfriend and I were coming from a hotel in Lima that was so so. When we got to Wifala, it was so wonderful to come to a hotel with personality and a welcoming demeanor. The hotel is SPOTLESS! Gina, the nighttime receptionist, was wonderful and so helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are a little tiny, but for us... More

Lovely breakfast in the morning, nice rooms and got a great night's sleep. There are closer hotels to the centre but it is an easy 15 min walk to Plaza des Armes which we didn't mind :) having already stayed near the centre for 4 nights before, this hotel was much nicer!!

I just returned from Cusco and stayed at Wifala Hotel. First thing to note is that the hotel, as with most places in Cusco, is on a hill. So while you may be able to walk downhill to the city centre, walking back up is not easy. This is made even worse, since I had a horrible case of altitude... More

We picked the hotel because it is not in downtown and wanted something quieter. These are not steep streets like in San Blas and we enjoyed our walk to and from downtown. It is completely safe and you pass some small stores and bakeries. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and modern, the staff is friendly but they... More

Although it's true that the hotel is a bit off the beaten path, if you are like me and you don't spend a lot of time in your hotel room, this place is all you need at a decent price. I found the staff to be welcoming, charming and very helpful. The breakfast was good and very fresh. I was... More

Pros: Cleanliness - hotel was very clean - spotless in fact. Service - all the ladies at the front counter and at breakfast were very friendly and welcoming! Offered coco tea when we arrived and breakfast was better than most places! Wifi was very fast! Cons: Location - was a bit of a walk to the main square. We arrived... More

This is a great place. Very warm and welcoming. It is just want you need after a long journey (almost 15 hours in our case) The pictures posted are exactly like what it is. We were communicating with Monica (the owner) via email for several months, and she answered all our questions about tours and pricing without us committing to... More

Hotel was lovely for a 3 star hotel. Only prob is its a bit out of town so be aware when booking. Only a 5sol cab ride into town they so cheap enough. I loved the breakfast and hot water bottles in our bed.

WIFALA: if you're looking for a room with a hot shower (or even warm), a room with a comfortable temperature, and not keen to pay for any mark you make on the sheets/ towels- we'd advise you to look elsewhere. We liked: - Except the owner (details later) the staff were all lovely- friendly, polite and happy to help. The... More
