The place is roughly a 15 minute walk from the main square and I was pleasantly surprised by the place. The room is a bit on the small side, so don't expect too much walking room, but the room that we stayed in (Nazca) was nice. It has a rainfall shower and they provided us with a heated water bottle... More

We stayed here for 6 nights throughout our time in the sacred valley area and truly enjoyed it. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk to the main tourist area and in a neighborhood that feels a little more real while being just as safe as the tourist area. We had two different rooms and they were both great.... More

Me and my husband stayed for two nights while visiting the area. First I want to say that if you have any questions or concerns at all, simply email them. I had numerous contacts with Monica and was very happy to finally meet her upon arrival. I booked directly through contacting the hotel and she offered me a room for... More

We stayed in this hotel on arrival in Cusco (August 2014) and also after undertaking the Inca Trail (They were happy to store our bags for the four days we were trekking). The hotel is small and very friendly. The staff speak a little English - enough to get by bearing in mind that we speak no Spanish at all.... More

I understand that this is a boutique hotel, and rooms are supposed to be small, however this wa super small. The wife and I didn't even have place to unpack. The flush in the restroom wasn't reliable, had some issues every now and then. Ok, the bed- worst bed ever!!! The springs in the mattress were so bad that it... More

I stayed here for about one week in early Sept. 2014. Wifi access was reliable. The hotel grounds are very well kept, the rooms very clean, the bedding very comfortable and clean. The bathroom and shower were good, and there was always hot water. There was a pleasant view from my room. There are barking dogs in the area at... More

Booked after reading many reviews on many different hotels. Couldn't beat the price at $52 USD per night INCLUDING BREAKFAST! Staff was amazing and understood what we were saying in English 98% of the time. Rooms and common areas were always clean. Breakfast is downstairs and is made to order - no cold food on a buffet. The staff asked... More

If you can get a discount, it's a good value. Its location at first seems good because it is away from any main street and quiet, but every night of our trip there was someone in the church square next door having a party or blasting music which made it hard to sleep. The rooms are small but cozy, and... More

I came here in July durning the peak season. Even though I've been in Cuzco twice I got altitude sickness. The stuff was super sweet and helpful. The owner wanted to give me a room to stay for free on the last day since my flight was in the afternoon but I wasn't able to stand there for so long... More

I pent 7 days at the Wifala. It's a little ways from the Plaza del Armas, but taxis are reasonable and fast - only 5 sols each ride (about $2). Lovely breakfast included, hot water bottles every night, tea served on request. Clean and caring. Staff are excellent. Thanks in particular to Aliss who took care of me on the... More
