We stayed for 2 nights after spending 3 nights in Urubamba. Since we already acclimated, the uphill walk from the Plaza de Armas was not that bad (but we didn't run up it either). I noticed an oxygen tank in the "lobby" area so I imagine they are equipped to help with altitude sickness. Overall, I found the location to... More

This hotel is just up from plaza de armas, which is the main square. They will pick you up at the airport, and when you get to the hotel you are greeted with warm coca tea. We were offered advice on what to eat and drink our first 24 hours there because of the altitude. You get to pick what... More

The boutique hotel in Cuzco is the perfect spot to stay just off the main square. It is quaint and charming, and the staff could not do enough to help us (we were unfortunate enough to be on our way to Machu Picchu when we were stopped due to protests, and they went out of their way to negotiate with... The blue door entrance off the small cobblestone street looks a bit unfriendly, but don't let that dissuade you from ringing the doorbell. The attendant answered right away and led us into a very charming courtyard. Our room was small but very unique. It was cold when we arrived, but the room has a very efficient room heater and we... Our first night in Cusco we stayed at Rumi Wasi and were greeted with a cup of Coca Tea. Our room was very unique and the small boutique hotel was very charming. The hotel arranged airport transfer for us in the morning and had a selection of food to pick from for breakfast. Candles were lit in our room when... More

I was adopted when I was 6 months. January 20th was my 25th birthday. My mother & I planned a trip to come meet my biological mother & see cuzco for the 1st time. This hotel has made the stay even more memorable then ever. The beds are comfy. The balcony is amazing...have breakfast there, you can't go wrong. The... More

This is a great hotel for many reasons. First, the hotel staff are excellent people. They were super helpful and made our stay even better. My son and husband got sick with some stomach virus. The hotel manager got a doctor to come see them to the hotel room. He knew how stressed we were specially with a sick kid... More

This is a great hotel! It is very well located. It is close to the Plaza de Armas and it is far enough from the nightclubs so you are not bothered at all by the noise. The staff was friendly, the rooms are clean and big. Breakfast was good. The only thing is that you need to be ready for... More

This 400-year old stone house, open to the sky on all three levels of the courtyard (off which the rooms are located), is beautifully restored, and is about 3 blocks from the main Plaza d'Armas up a steep, one-way street. The biggest disappointment was poor communications. On arrival, after a delayed flight and NO luggage, we were left standing in... More

Such a convenient location combined with a tastefully decorated, quiet peaceful atmosphere sure made for a lovely evening respite after busy days in Cusco. There was a vast selection for breakfast, which was just right for setting off for packed days of touring. The hot showers and hot water bottles at night kept me toasty warm. Overall really appreciated the... More
