Front desk staff here are excellent. Here's why: 1. they speak english - extremely well. I speak spanish, but when I'm tired, it's nice to be lazy and not translate in my head 2. they are extremely knowledgeable - this includes all things Cusco, restaurant recommendations, sites, etc. 3. they are happy to help with any concierge-type tasks - arranging... With only 24 rooms, they still found time to renovate using jack hammers. Otherwise a nice stopover. Within easy walking distance to shops and eateries. As a volunteer for the Las Vegas Metro PD I trade patches with any local police that I am near. Cusco was a real treat. Just a few words on how we got in to... More

The best thing about this hotel is the great tour deal for only 30 soles. We also loved that the Wi-fi worked (unlike our place at Ollantaytambo). The courtyard in the center is nice. The only thing it lacks is heat.

I have stayed in this hotel twice. 1st I have just arrived in Cusco. The place is great, good location, breakfast ok and clean room. Free coca tea and great staff. When I left for MachuPicchu, I left my luggage in the hotel and just took a small baggage with me to Aguas Calientes. When I returned to Antawasi hotel... More

The Antawasi Hotel was a great place to stay! Only a short walk to many of the plazas and sites in Cusco. We came to Peru to hike the Inka trail to Machu Piccu. Prior to hitting the trail we stopped by the hotel first and they gladly said they'd hold our luggage at no charge. Getting off the trail... More

The staff was very helpful and always attentive. The room was very cold (no central heating) and it was difficult to go to sleep. There was constant LOUD traffic in the hallway/stairway at night. I am used to louder hotels and sleep with ear plugs. I was still awakened several times by people shouting outside of my room.

Stayed with a friend for two nights before heading for MachuPichu. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Mind you after you enter, they will really push you to drink coca tea which was a little strange. Turns out they don't want you throwing up on their floor (which is sparkly clear!) haha. Very caring staff, breakfast was great, computers... More

Staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean. The night I was there I arrived at 11pm from Ollantaytambo and they were waiting for me. They serve breakfast at 6 am and if you need a taxi they make a call. They have Wi-Fi and TV.
