This is the kind of place you go when everywhere else in town is full up. The pluses are it's on a nice atmospheric street, a short stroll from a lot of Cusco's attractions, restaurants and bars. However, I found the rooms very basic, the romos were scruffy and in need of updating, and there was a smell of sewage... More

We were taken here by our taxi driver, after our flight from Cusco to Lima was cancelled. It looks fine from the outside, and is in a good location, maybe 5 minutes from the main plaza. We had a triple room for the two of us and our 11 year old son, which was a bit small for 3. It... More

In a town where a bed in a dorm room can set you back $30, this hidden gem is a beauty. We were totally lucky, walked out of airport and local taxi snagged us up. We indicated we had no reservations and he said he had a sister who ran a hotel. OK, it is not his sister ....jaja! No... More

My review earns 2 starts only because we had hot water consistently and the room was clean. The reception area where they serve the very basic breakfast (hardly worth mentioning) is FREEZING, (I recommend dressing as if you were going out into the cold Cusco air) the wi-fi never worked and the towels were all stained. Walter Cusi, as he... More

we were hijacked at the bus terminal after a 10 hour bus journey from Arequipa by a lady saying this was a very good price, as my wife had food poisoning and wasn't in a good place we took our chances cos of circumstances. The place is a little bit out of the way but if you don't mind a... More

Sleeping in the rooms is impossible either due to the street noise on the street side or due to animals and music in the near public market. After the first day in the city, we found our room door standing wide open. The storage room where other guests keep their belongings before checkin or after checkout is never locked. The... More

We stayed here for two nights separatedly, the hotel is quite clean in difference with the others we visited. Is a few blocks from the main plaza, so it will only be a few minutse walk. Since I read the previous comments, we paid in cash, and negotiated the price at the begining. Breakfast is basic, so you will be... More

Since it's a budget hotel it's a very good choice, if you don't mind to walk up to San Blas every day. Clean, good rooms, nice people. Rooms at third floor are cold at night, no heaters.
