We had a fantastic stay at Unumizu in Cusco. On multiple occasions the staff really went above and beyond to provide excellent service and ensure we had a fantastic stay. Given the price of this hotel it really is excellent value. We arrived at 6am for our booking that evening, hoping to deposit our bags before exploring cusco. To our... More

I planned a tour of southern Peru for my adult children and planned to meet them in Cusco for Inti Raymi and a trip to Machu Pichu. I chose the Unumizu primarily because it fit my budget. what I found was a level of warmth, hospitality and service one would expect from a hotel 2 or 3 times the price.... More

Spent six days here. Room was spacious as it included a very comfortable queen size bed with sufficient bedding, folding table and chair, nightstand and built in storage area. Hot water in the shower was readily available within 15 seconds. Oscar was responsible for the beautiful spread of breakfast fare. The foods included ham, cheese, olives, freshly baked bread, numerous... More

If you are looking for a fancy hotel, then this is not your place. My wife and I were not looking for that. What we found here is a staff that truly cared for our needs. The breakfast was great-a wonderful way to start off the day. They were happy to answer all of our questions and arrange for a... More

STAFF: The staff here were nice and welcoming. Personally I found they weren't as fluent in english as the other hotel I stayed in, however they were still very polite & helpful. They carried our bags up to our room. The night we arrived (Friday / 9:30 PM), we were extremely tired (arriving after a 4 day Inca Trail trek)... More

We were taxied here after our flight to Cuzco was cancelled. The staff at the front desk and restaurant servers are great! The food in the restaurant was very appetizing. The room was clean and homey.

I stayed here 3 nights. This great little hotel has many great points BUT we found OTHER guests very inconsiderate when they arrived back to their rooms. The Management need to put up signs asking GUESTS TO THINK OF OTHERS WHEN THEY ARRIVE IN AT NIGHT - OTHERS MAY BE SLEEPING. The room was clean and six was ok as... More

In Cuzco, you will find a gem of a small hotel. The way this place is managed should serve as an example for many other hotels around the world. The personnel go out of their way to ensure your stay is beyond satisfactory. They not only are helpful, polite and extremely professional, but they are personable and seem to take... More

Our room was very basic but cleam and comfortamble. What I really liked was the staff providing 5 star service upon our arrival and during our stay. Easy walk to Plaza De Armas, shopping and great restaurants.

This hotel is NOT near the city center. But that is exactly why we liked it. You are in a real neighborhood, with locals. That may be a downside for some, but not us. If you are squeamish, or traveling with those that are squeamish.. I would not stay here. The neighborhood does appear a bit "tough." We did not... More
