We stayed at mama simona twice before and after machu picchu. First we stayed in a double room with shared bathroom. It was a nice room and a comfy bed- the view was a wall but all the rest was ok. The second time we had a private bathroom which was heaven. Still clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was... More

Despite not being as charming as it's Ollantaytambo equivalent, this is an excellent option in Cusco, one that I would certainly take up if I were to visit the city again. Warm atmosphere and rooms, warm shower, friendly staff. Not so good internet. Close to the city centre.

We try to do our best in the place we are; balancing budget rates with convenient location. Ollantaytambo is our gem with natural surroundings with authentic Andean culture. Cusco is becoming each year a better alternative with a resting atmosphere with all the facilities you need to move in it. Thanks for leaving us your impressions More

This hostel is not too far away from the city center (5min walk) and located in a quiet street. Private room is clean and quite well furnished. The staff is cleaning your room everyday which is very appreciable. Common room for using wifi is a bit freezing during evenings but you can ask a heater at the reception. Kitchen is... More

Mom and I had a private room-warmer than ours in Ollanta, we bought bleach and a scrub brush as there was some mold in the bathroom and mom is allergic, we stayed 3 nights after 4 acclimating in Ollanta then 2 in MP. Staff was friendly and made arrangements for tours and taxi to airport for early flight to Arequipa.... More

Thanks for your comment. We had low temperature on these days in Cusco and Ollantaytambo, not only beacause from december to arch are rainy seasons, also because 2016 is an atipical year because of "fenomeno dle Niño". Sorry about mold we are looking in the room you stayed in our hostel. Regards More

Overall this is a inexpensive backpackers. We stayed here four nights in total in a double ( bunk bed ) room with private bathroom. The rooms were small, dark and dated. The Windows opened into the hostel which also didn't help the dark environment. The showers has no pressure and the hot water was luke warm. The breakfast was extremely... More

Hey! thanks for leaving us your appreciations. This last days, where rainy and a little dark right? this is the kind of weather in Cusco from December to March. Our house hasn´t open areas, we must protect our guests from rains and storms during this season! All though, we have light in common areas and of course all our rooms have... More

We showed up a day earlier than our booking (our mistake) and they were so accommodating. We had requested a private room but all they had was a room for 4. They put us in and let us have it to ourselves. The rooms are clean and well stocked and the location is a short walk from the main square... More

The hostel is located in the center of Cuzco (just a 5 min walk to the main square). If you like a quiet hostel this is the place to be. Breakfast is minimal, but you can order eggs. The rooms (private as well as dorms) are really nice. Even in the dorms you have a power point right at the... More

I spent around a week in this hostel during my time in Cusco and it was excellent. The rooms were very clean, with nice, comfortable beds and great bathroom facilities (showers were lovely and warm, although they sometimes took a while to get going). Staff were friendly, spoke good English and were always on hand to provide information about Cusco... More

Stayed here for two weeks in november, and really enjoyed my stay. I was a solo back packer, and it felt safe, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy. there's a nice lounge bit in the middle (where the wifi is the best!) and you you can buy drinks there too. Breakfast is simple... More

I was in Cusco for two weeks. We moved from our previous guest house to this since the energy felt better. They had good wi-fi, hot water, friendly staff, and clean - and an easy non-uphill location... but for me the best part of the place by far was the space heater they had in the courtyard with some nice...
