very good place if you are looking for some good parties and there is a good vibe everyday. however if you want some quietness or looking for some relaxation then you might want to skip this one. very spacious yard and lovely staff in the bar!

Big thanks to a very helpful, informative and patient front desk, especially Oscar. The hostel is spacious, especially the central atrium. Unlike La Paz (Can't speak for Arequipa) the bigger rooms are close to the bar which sounds throughout the whole hostel. The wifi can't handle the amount of people using it and frequently crashes. The dorms are good value,... More

If your 18 years old and love to party the wild rover will be great. No windows in my room, overpriced tiny lockers and theft warnings everywhere. My door and many others could be cracked open with a butter knife. =camera gear not safe. Only place in Peru I have been concerned about my valuables.

Brilliant beds, brilliant bar and brilliant staff. Great place to meet other travellers and different events organised each day. lockers with sockets provided and large storage lockers in the dorms. A massive thanks to Charlotte and Danny who went over and beyond their duties and insisted on accompanying myself and my friend to the hospital after I was hit with... More

very nice hostel for agitated people! very big, many facilities, inside bar - great food, double drinks every night, snooker, ping pong table, beds are comfortable but 16 beds room is for brave people! the drunkest, loudest, most disorganized people stay in it, 8, 6 or 4 beds room is the best option. It's very close to plaza de armas... More

An amazing hostel for anyone ready to party or who is a deep sleeper. The beds are amazing! Very soft with thick blankets for warmth. Many rooms have their own bathroom, which, if that's what you like, is great. More private. I personally like communal bathrooms better. You also get a storage locker. The staff is great and helpful. Luggage... More

i unfortunately had to stay at this hostel for 1 night because i left it too late to book somewhere else, the place is LOUD! drunk teenagers that cant handle there booze running around screaming all night, the built in fake irish bar is below average at best, and very loud...you can hear the bass pumping everywhere in the hostel,... Wild Rover is the best hostel of south america. I've stayed in all 3 and this one was where I had more fun. Nice people, nice rooms, very spacious, airy, very good localization. The staff are very attentive!

We were recommended it by a friend, so hoped for the best. A really relaxed atmosphere during the day, lounging on the patio, on beanbags and playing pingpong, transforms dramatically to one of the busiest bars in the area come evening. Due to the party vibe, everyone staying there seems to be of a similar mindset and really easy to... More

Tonight 27/7 at 10pm I made a call to make a booking for a couple of argentinian friends. A rude guy took my call and when I ask for availability and he realize that I was peruvian he was sighing, huffing and puffing with annoyance throught the phone telling me that I have to wait. After several minutes waiting on... More
