Detailled review down there... We're the two french tourists that have assisted at "Angela J." argument (She refused to pay the room booked for 3nights). First, there's never been a fight! Then we've not "helped" them. This woman was expecting 1st class service for a fraction of the price!! She even spoke about revenge reviews... When you choose a budget... More

Mamma Cusco is a decent place to stay. The staff is very friendly, and the hostel is located only a 5 minute walk from Plaza de Armas. There is no water after 8 pm in neither the toilet, zink nor shower. But the shower is hot during the day. The staff is very helpfull and they even put eight people... More

We stayed several night here because the location is great (close to many cheap restaurants), the price is good, and the owner is a sweet lady! I didn't mind that she doesn't speak English. She is a lovely host anyway. The hostel has a great view from the roof over the city (WOW!). However, the hostel is really cold! I... More

We were welcomed with open arms by mamma Cusco and her husband. We had a wonderful few nights there, close to the centre and good value for your money. The husbands english is great so he could give us good tips on where to go. Very chilled vibe with basic peruvian breakfast. The view from the roof is great, thanks.

Where do you want me to start. We arrived at Mamma Cusco Hostel early in the morning, before check out. At check in, Mamma Cusco said nothing about paying extra for early arrival. After suggesting to change room, as the matrimonial room was just too tiny, to move into a double room, Mamma Cusco stated that we would have to... More

While this is not a 5 star stay, the friendly staff and cozy rooms make up for it. Mercedes made sure we has everything we needed and offered helpful local tips as well. She was there to greet me at the airport and provided answers to any and all questions. Only thing is that the showers were warm and not... More
