Located 2 blocks from the main square on a quiet street, this is an old mansion converted into a hotel. As with all hotels in Peru, there were two beds in the room. Bathroom is good size with excellent amenities. The shower took some time to figure out as it has way too many options. Interestingly our room had no... More

The Aranwa is a very comfortable hotel close to the city centre. The staff attentive and friendly. The lift was out of order so we staggered upstairs to the 2nd floor feeling somewhat breathless! Our room was large and the bathroom enormous with an 'interesting' shower. We only had breakfast in the hotel and it was fine. The location is... More

Was really looking forward to staying at this hotel, however, it was a letdown. It is a very beautiful hotel but for the amount you pay you can get alot better. Our first night at the hotel was filled with so much noise that my mom and I could not sleep. We asked to move the second night. The front... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour of South America for two nights. The rooms are all individual but ours was huge with an almost equally big bathroom complete with Jaccuzzi tub and what they called a Scottish shower (which appears to mean water comes at you in all directions) 5mins walk from the historic square and Cathedral... We stayed for three nights after a trip to Machu Picchu. This is an amazing hotel from the front door. Very comfortable quiet rooms with fabulous bed and wonderful bathroom with everything including bath scales. Staff were very friendly and efficient, could not do enough for you. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Our stay here was wonderful! The rooms, the fantastic showers, the food, the location....but, what impressed us the most was the staff, headed by a kind, warm, professional general manager who went beyond the call of duty to please. Stay here...you will not be disappointed.

We made no reservations, low season. At arrival we got a huge discount for the royal suite. The room was amazong! Big, with balcony and an 'english' bath tub. Toilet and luxurious shower seperately. Oxigin in the room. Buffet breakfast is great. Everyting you can think of. Very nice staff and good english speaking lady at the front desk.

You receive luxury at the Aranwa, a converted 17th century colonial mansion. The hotel is filled with museum quality colonial furniture, paintings, and icons. If your room is downstairs make sure you walk through the upstairs. There is no end to the well furnished sitting rooms scattered throughout the hotel. The rooms are sizeable and extremely quiet because most do... More

Myself and my husband stayed at Aranwa as a base to visit Manu and then the Lares Trek. The staff went over and above their basic duties in every way (e.g. special thanks to the receptionist who booked me in to her special local nail salon the other side of Cusco).
