We made no reservations, low season. At arrival we got a huge discount for the royal suite. The room was amazong! Big, with balcony and an 'english' bath tub. Toilet and luxurious shower seperately. Oxigin in the room. Buffet breakfast is great. Everyting you can think of. Very nice staff and good english speaking lady at the front desk.

You receive luxury at the Aranwa, a converted 17th century colonial mansion. The hotel is filled with museum quality colonial furniture, paintings, and icons. If your room is downstairs make sure you walk through the upstairs. There is no end to the well furnished sitting rooms scattered throughout the hotel. The rooms are sizeable and extremely quiet because most do... More

Myself and my husband stayed at Aranwa as a base to visit Manu and then the Lares Trek. The staff went over and above their basic duties in every way (e.g. special thanks to the receptionist who booked me in to her special local nail salon the other side of Cusco). I had expected a more corporate ambience in a... More

We stayed here two nights. The hotel location is about a block from the church, in a great area. Cusco is easy to walk around in, if you are used to the altitude. The hotel is a old manor home, and has a small museum in the basement. The rooms and beds were quite comfortable. A great breakfast was available... More

This hotel was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The decor is gorgeous! We stayed here for two nights. We stayed in one of the bigger rooms with a balcony overlooking the main street. The room was very spacious with a gorgeous soaker tub. It is maybe two blocks from the city center and it... More

We stayed at this hotel with a group that hiked the Inca Trail. We only stayed one night before we ventured onto Puno and Lake Titicaca. The bar was very cool and the food at the restaurant was good. Friendly service and clean rooms. We will have to come back next time!

This hotel is located in the cultural center of Cusco and is an old Colonial manor home. The rooms are amazing and the height of luxury, the bathrooms had marble floors and they were heated so your feet were never cold. The breakfast in the morning is great and you will find something that is a comfort food to you.... More

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay in Aranwa. Very warm and welcoming, elegant with large rooms, exquisite décor and delightful artifacts. I had never been in a boutique hotel before and definitely never seen antiquities and original valuable paintings adorning the walls of one. I think our family spent a lot of time oohing and aahing over all... More

Nice, small hotel in converted old building. Small but decent buffet breakfast. Hotel rooms do not all have windows, so if you're claustrophobic - ask for room with a window that opens. HVAC and wifi didn't work in room. Shower was a nightmare as it had 2 overhead and 2 side showerheads with 4 different controls - overkill and confusing.

Judging from the comments over the years, I get the impression that management does pay attention to comments and strive to improve. We did not encounter any of the problems faced by earlier commenters. Apart from the central location, the rooms include a large bathroom with jacuzzi and heated flooring wiTh branded toiletries. If anything, the shower door was difficult... More
