This gem is reasonably priced for the exquisite decor and over-the-top gorgeous rooms. I prefer historic hotels with a lot of atmosphere, so I recomend this one highly! Staff attentive and friendly. Large jacuzzi tubs, high ceilings, antiques in lobby rooms, lovely breakfast area.

Place is nice. Best part is you are 2 blocks from the main square. Worst part the wifi. Works sporadic at best from your rooms. Several times I had to sit in the lobby to get internet. The rooms are nice. Free breakfast buffet was nice. Plenty of food to choose from. I stayed a total of 3 nights. 2... More

This is a lovely hotel, with great food, atmosphere, décor, and service. The rooms are large, well appointed, with state of the art bathrooms. They have a feather menu next to the bed, where you can order your feather options from the main desk. This is a good idea. They came right away and took out the feather pillows and... More

When they describe themselves as a boutique hotel, they are giving you the absolute perfect description of themselves. I have stayed in my share of palace and boutique hotels in India and abroad but this one has far surpassed all the others by a long mile. We arrived at the hotel by about 1130 and the normal check in time... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. The ambience in an old mansion in the heart of old Cusco was elegant. We stayed in different rooms having checked out to go to the sacred valley and Machu Picchu. The king size room was definitely larger and more luxurious than... More

This is a lovely hotel. Filled with antiques, very well appointed if slightly smallish rooms, comfortable beds, excellent restaurant. But the big draw for us was the staff. Professional, responsive, cheerful, accommodating. They were excellent and worthy of high praise. We loved staying here and recommend it highly. P Buckner

We stayed at Aranwa last week during a tour of Peru. The hotel is very quaint and interesting being located in a 17th century colonial mansion. The room was gorgeous with a new updated bathroom (complete with heated granite floors!). The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful with a view of the courtyard. The... More

Stayed at the Aranwa on a recent trip to see Machu Picchu. A very comfortable stay an historically interesting environment. A fascinating mix of Spanish colonial and Inca influences. Very atmospheric with excellent staff who couldn't do enough for you especially by trying to make your visit at altitude bearable with coca tea. The room we stayed in was very... More

Located 2 blocks from the main square on a quiet street, this is an old mansion converted into a hotel. As with all hotels in Peru, there were two beds in the room. Bathroom is good size with excellent amenities. The shower took some time to figure out as it has way too many options. Interestingly our room had no... More

Dear Mr. Frem862 Thank you for your words and appreciation about the Hotel. As you noticed the hotel was an old masion and not all the rooms has no windows but skylight as you mention before, also the carpets we have are the colonial style each ones gave you a tear impression. I would like to mentioned, the elevator was... More
