the hotel staff themselves were as acommodating as possible..I know understand this hotels a historic landmark and the plumbing is one indication of that. As another reviewer noted the in room coffee service was never replenished. Breakfast was good yet understaffed during the times we were there. The best thing this hotel has going for it is it's location walking... More

This hotel is really excellent. It's a little expensive but as you are in the centre of Cusco you can get food and drink elsewhere. There service is wonderful, we had a great stay here and it was a great way to relax after the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu.

I find it difficult to decide how to review this hotel as it is was quite mixed. The property itself is lovely, with beautiful and interesting pieces in every corner. However the rooms themselves ( we had 2) had very little natural light and no windows for fresh air. Not sure if our window onto the passage even opened! So... More

Beautiful hotel, largish rooms, comfortable beds, great location. easy walking distance of the things you wanted to see but still off on the side street so it wasn't loud. the hotel had an elegant look. We stayed three nights in a triple room with a spectacular bathroom. The ambience was great, and the hotel was quiet. We had superb service, especially from Juan the bellman, as one of our party ended up with altitude sickness. Impressive breakfast buffet was included.

Dear Ms. Catherine Thank you for your comment about the hotel it has been really a pleasure for us to get you here with us and of course to know that the staff made a great job, just like Juan the bellman. The hotel was located within walking distance of main square but far away enough to provide a nice quiet sleep. We had wonderful service the whole time. One of most unique hotels I have ever had pleasure to stay in. Every room was different. Hallways, courtyard, reception, lounge areas, restaurant all were in unique adaptions from old manor house. Standard is at luxury level. I would gladly recommend to anybody and stay here again.

A manor house has been converted into the most charming and high standard hotel. The staff are excellent and the building just gorgeous with the essence of the original mansion maintained.
