We spent a week here and loved it. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the staff is really friendly and accommodating. They kept out luggage for us for 5 days while we headed off with a small Backpack to the jungle. Upon returning they upgraded us to a suite with a jacuzzi and courtyard. Heavenly. Breakfast is simple... More

We were planning to stay here for two nights but there a few minor issues that made our stay uncomfortable. It might be OK for others, but for us it was kind of annoying. This boutique hotel has a number of positive things staying in room 203: (1) Updated shower and sink. (2) Cute court area. (3) Fast and reliable... More

Very nice rooms with character arranged around a couple of courtyards in an old mansion. Bathrooms were newly renovated and well up to western standards. Breakfast was excellent and staff even made up a packed breakfast for when I had to leave very very early on my last day, and opened the restaurant 15 minutes early (at 5:45am!) for somewhat... We are currently staying here and really enjoying it! I'm glad we chose to spend a little extra money to stay here rather than a couple of cheaper options I was looking at. The rooms are beautiful, we are a family of 4 with 2 adult size teenagers and are in a room with 3 queens and a loft a... More

Beautiful hotel with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Spacious rooms, great breakfast, Great location. Short downhill walk to plaza de Armas, but the uphill return will take your wind the first few days. Cusco altitude is no joke, evan after 3 days in Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu before coming to Cusco. Tambo is a phenomenal value. Stop looking and... More

Very pretty hotel in an old mansion with modern amenities. We had junior suites which are very well decorated. Breakfast is 5 star with fresh fruit, juices, eggs your way, and local cereals (yummy!). The dinner was good too. Free pisco sour on checking in. People were very helpful. The lady in the kitchen catered to all our requests with... More

We stayed in Tambo del Arriero on our trip to Peru in February and loved it. It was cozy, spacious high quality of rooms. The hotel service was very friendly, one person from our group got sick second day - they were so nice that they checked on him during our absence (as we had whole day excursion). Breakfast was... We stayed at the Tambo del Arriero for our first two nights in Cusco and loved it. It is probably one of the prettiest hotels I have ever stayed in; the décor and colours are beautiful and the furniture elegant. The central courtyard is full of character. The location of the hotel is good, about a ten minute walk to... More

We stayed here 3 nights in Cusco. The location is good -- and bit of a stroll to the main square and restaurants, etc... -- and the property itself is lovely. Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful enough, and we were allowed to store bags when checking out and going to Machupicchu (there are very restrictive size limitations for bags... More

The staff is friendly and helpful. They will hold your bags if you check out and are traveling to Machu Picchu like we did (since the train has a baggage restriction). The bathrooms are very clean and maintained nicely. However, the rooms 101-104 (and assuming the upper floor the same) which are located in the main courtyard are very loud.... More
