Booked here by a guide company. Nice location just a minute or two from La Plaza Armas. Service was very good, passing on messages, phone calls when I was in the lobby, storing my luggage. The room was large with a nice bath. Comfortabke bed. My room was on je front, which was a bit loud. Nice view from the... More

We stayed at this hotel for around a week and found the facilities very comfortable. The rooms were clean and well decorated with a huge shower when we were suffering with Altitude sickness in the middle of the night the staff were really helpful. The only faults we could find were that there wasn't a great selection for breakfast, ok... More

Our stay at the Maytaq Wasin was great. The location is excellent, right off of the main Plaza de Armas. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was adequate. They did offer to make eggs for you as well. Our room was very neat and well kept. They stored our large luggage in a secure room... More

The location of this hotel is just awesome! It is around the corner of the cathedral and the plaza de armas. The staff is very friendly and the tooms are very cozy for the nights. Also there is a very nice shower with good pressure for after a hard day in Machu Pichu. All in all I would go back... More

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel is in a good city centre location with plenty surrounding it. The rooms are clean but small. Ours only had one window which opened into the corridor. This meant you needed to keep it shut most of the time along with the curtains. There was quite a bit of noise as people walked... More

The rooms are large and clean. The towels are small and and thin and our bed was very noisy so every time you turn over you wake up! The breakfast was limited and only scrambled egg or omelette available hot. The hotel is very close to the main square, the staff are very friendly and for a standard hotel it's... More

Spent two nights here with a group. We added a trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu to the end of a mission trip on the Ucayali River. Maytaq Wasin is tastefully decorated. The rooms are small, simple but very comfortable. My wife and I had two twin beds. The hotel is not air conditioned and the first night was quite... More

This hotel is in a great spot. Just a block off the main square so close, but quiet. It is fairly basic, but had everything we needed. Free unlimited filtered water and tea was a plus, very friendly and helpful staff, a heater in the bedroom, a nice rooftop patio with a cool view and a decent breakfast included. The... More

I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here 3 nights before visiting the Sacred Valley/Macchu Picchu and one night on the way back. They even stored our big luggage while we were in Sacred Valley and Macchu Picchu with no problems. The staff are extremely helpful, caring, friendly, professional, and speak English. Upon arrival, I had a medical issue... More

This was a tale of two halves for us. We stayed before and after our trek. We arrived for our first stay after a long journey, overnight bus to Lima followed by a flight, to find that there was a problem with the hot water. The room only had a window onto a corridor( room 303) and the room was... More
