We enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly, breakfast was great, indoor garden setting was quaint. Unlimited coca tea was great for the altitude sickness coming from Lima. Hotel also offers laundry service. Shower was usually nice and hot. Only downfall was the noise from the room above, if you can, get a room upstairs to save the late night... More

Hotel is conveniently located in the San Blas district of Cusco. It was an easy walk to Cusco center along some interesting streets. In hindsight we felt lucky with the hotel locations as some Cusco hotels or hostels can be far and/or quite a hike up ... which at over 11,000 feet above sea can make a big difference. Rooms... Although the Hostel offers free pickup from the airport we had to get a taxi from the airport to the Hostel. However they compensated our return to the airport. The Hostel it's well located and a short walking distance to Plaza de Armas, Museo de Pisco, Museo de Machu Pichhu, and many restaurants and shops. Also they offer great service... More

Apu Huascaran is located within a short walk from San Blas, one of the main attractions of historic Cusco. The colonial building has a courtyard, covered in glass, that serves as a comfortable sitting and breakfast area. Our room had its window to the street - probably the best location - and was sparsely furnished. .We were received with great... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night in Cusco. It's a cute little place with blue doors and cutely decorated garden courtyard. On arrival you are swiftly served some much needed cocoa tea. The rooms are very minimalistic with a decent bed, little storage , a tiny bathroom and a TV. The roof has exposed beans and a... More

I recently (November 2014) stayed at Apu Hauscaran while visiting a family member in Cusco. Everything about my stay was enjoyable. I was able to book my stay and arrange for a tour to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu through Apu's staff all by email in advance. Every question I had, they answered promptly and helpfully within 24 hours.... More

A wonderful, wonderful hotel. Service was amazing! A stroke of bad luck (or whatever) meant that I left my laptop computer in the seat in front of me on the plane when I arrived in Cusco. I didn't realise until I was getting out of the taxi at the hotel. Without even confirming that I was a guest, they started... More

This hotel was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a plus but wifi seemed to be available only in the central lobby. Very close to Plaza San Blas and not too far from the city center. They even kept our bags for us while we visited Aguas Caliente overnight.

The hotel is such a cute little place with a great courtyard, The breakfast is good and includes eggs. The little lady making the eggs is very sweet, as are the front desk staff. Stunning views from the rooms with balconies!
