Ive got to say this was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at and I've travelled all over the world. The Lima one is just as amazing. The Pariwana hostels have a travel agent located inside to help travellers organise their trip around Peru. I found that the travel agent here can offer the best deals so don't... More

I loved my stayed at Pariwana! I stayed a total of 8 nights and have no complaints! I always stayed in a 6 bed with ensuite dorm which was the best choice! The room was always very clean and the bathroom was newly renovated! I was also lucky to get some really good room mates. I loved that the lockers... More

Everything is cool about Pariwana Cusco ! Simply everything ! First impression is very good- it's like a little village where they have everything. It's all very professional, you don't feel like in backpacker's hostel at all. The only thing that makes it hostel is shared rooms. I'd say it's a posh place ! Service form the staff is very... More

Pariwana Cusco is, by far, the best hostel I stayed at in South America. Super comfy beds, HOT hot showers with good water pressure, friendly staff, beautifully decorated facilities, powerpoints in every locker, daily organized activities, perfect location, balanced atmosphere where you can party but not get out of control...I could go on and on. My only complaint is that... More

This is, hands down, the best hostel I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in my fair share). The hostel itself is absolutely beautiful, with an enormous open courtyard that's been appropriated as a wonderful common space. When we arrived, they had foosball going, some people were grilling outside, there were large bean bags for lounging laid out everywhere, and... More

This place was one of the better hostels I stayed in in South America. Chill vibe, fun bar, excellent staff, delightfully large beds with TWO pillows, and hot, strong showers. It had everything. Great place to get to know Cusco from as it is super close to the center, maybe a five minute walk or so from the Plaza de... More

I am from GA and I really loved everything about this hostel. We had three in our party and we got the suite, matrimonial suite, and twin bed private bathroom over the course of a week. The privacy was wonderful, the place was affordable, and they took good care of our luggage while we hiked the Inca Trail for a... More

I stayed in a great private room here and would have loved to give it 5/5 but they really don't do anything about the noise people make - people talking really loudly in communal areas until 1:00 AM and then again at 6:00 AM to get ready for trekking trips! It would be a simple thing to fix because other... More

Plug sockets in your locker, duvets, bed made everyday in both private and dorm rooms, good atmosphere, great showers... Everything you could want from a hostel. Private room was nicer than some hotels I've stayed in!

We stayed in a private room for 2 with a private bathroom for about US$23 per person per night. Bed was comfortable, room/bathroom was clean and had hot showers with good water pressure. Cool decor in the common areas and lots of good places to lounge. Surprisingly there wasn't a lot of loud partying going on that we saw. 2... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Pariwana Hostel Cusco lies in a colonial house built in the 16th century. The beauty of our hostel can be compared to any 5-star hotel in the city of Cusco, but with the atmosphere and vibe of our guests and the Pariwana experience. The house has an internal patio surrounded by stone archways in both the first floor and in the balconies of the second floor. Our restaurant and bar-lounge are located in the same salons where Viceroys used to dine with the local nobility. It is said that there is a secret passage between the house and the closest convent. Supposedly, it was built by the last Viceroy, Abascal, as he new his days were counted. Pariwana Cusco is located in the heart of Cuzco’s Historical District: only 2 blocks away from the main plaza (Plaza de Armas). The hostel is surrounded by the typical Cuzco architecture and scenery. It is nearby several restaurants, drugstores and transportation facilities. ... more   less
