Pariwana has really friendly staff, fantastic social areas (inside and outside) and super comfortable beds and two pillows. It can get a bit noisy at night, and sometimes the music is too loud in the bar during the day, but overall it was definitely one of my favorite hostels in Peru. The location is fantastic - close to the market... More

While I think Pariwana is technically considered a party hostel, I think it's great. I'm not usually into really loud and obnoxious hostels but this place does everything right. The bar area is not close to the rooms, so it's very quiet everywhere else in the hostel. They have a travel agent in the building that can set up anything... More

I was nervous about staying at Pariwana because I had read that it was loud and a party hostel. However, we asked to stay in a room that was further away from the bar, and it was very quiet. The beds were clean, large and very comfortable. The bathrooms were numerous with private shower and toilet in each. Breakfast is... More

This was the best hostel I stayed out throughout my 10 day trip in SA. It feels more like a college dorm then a hostel. There is a computer room, movie room, bar / restaurant, wifi connection. The rooms were very clean and big, the lockers have their own outlet so you can charge your camera/phones, the bathroom and showers... More

This hostel was really cool! Im a princess when it comes to sleeping...I like to be in the pitch black and silence...there was a bbitbof noise when the party was going on but nothing to extreme that it kept me awake. We were located in a room right across from the action too. Our roomates on the other hand were... More

Great hostel, great staff. Theres all you need to be confortable, great rooms, great beds. Very clean and tidy, the bathroom and the shower also very good, and were cleaned daily twice a day. Very lively hostel with parties, games, but without interfering with the welfare. With a great internet access. Highly recommend it!

Fantastic hostel! I arrived in Cusco in February after there were strikes and delays with my bus from Lima. These guys were very understanding, put me in a great room away from the bar - but it wasnt needed as they enforce a quiet time between 11pm and 8am. Lots of backpackers. Great location, would both recommend to others and... More

If You Have It In Your Budget I Recommend Staying In The Suite. Had I Known It Would Be That Good, I Wouldn't Of Scheduled A Deal At The JW & Stayed Here Longer. The Room Is Large, On The Highest Floor, With A View Overlooking the Building Including The City & Hills. We Watched A Firework Show From The... More

We stayed here over Christmas and New Years. Overall we had a comfortable stay at Pariwana Cusco. Pro's: There is a comfy computer/internet room to chill out in. A big movie room with tons of pillows to spread out on. Well equipped kitchen, as well as the bar area where you can order food all day. Fun party and trivia... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Pariwana Hostel Cusco lies in a colonial house built in the 16th century. The beauty of our hostel can be compared to any 5-star hotel in the city of Cusco, but with the atmosphere and vibe of our guests and the Pariwana experience. The house has an internal patio surrounded by stone archways in both the first floor and in the balconies of the second floor. Our restaurant and bar-lounge are located in the same salons where Viceroys used to dine with the local nobility. It is said that there is a secret passage between the house and the closest convent. Supposedly, it was built by the last Viceroy, Abascal, as he new his days were counted. Pariwana Cusco is located in the heart of Cuzco’s Historical District: only 2 blocks away from the main plaza (Plaza de Armas). The hostel is surrounded by the typical Cuzco architecture and scenery. It is nearby several restaurants, drugstores and transportation facilities. ... more   less
