As soon as we arrived we were genuinely welcomed by Coco, who is qualified lawyer. He then gave us a tour of the facilities along with verbal information. It was far more professional than the majority of hotels. He even invites lodgers for a 6 o’clock complimentary Pisco Sour. The staff and Coco spoke excellent English and were a mine... More

This hostel is perfect for the price. The bed was comfortable, each room had its own bathroom, it offered breakfast and free wifi and the staff was more than willing to offer any information about Cusco they could. Granted, you had to pay separate for towels, but at a whopping 80 cents I don't think you'll be too set back... More

Coco, the owner will take good care of you. The Hostel is clean and Coco is very accommodating and always happy to help. There is clean kitchen you can cook with refrigerator which is of a great value in Peru. The rooms are very specious and the bathroom in my room was clean and in very good condition. When you... The staff at El Tuco are very nice and speak english well. The hostal is quiet, a quick 10 or 15 minute walk away from the craziness of the plaza. It was nice to get away from the tourist trap restaurants and tourism agencies. Coco, the owner, makes great pisco sours in his basement bar.

I stayed with family and friends for one night and Ì am really sad that we did not find it earlier. Coco and his staff did all their best for us to have a nice stay. The rooms were big and the cleanest I have seen in whole Peru. We arrived at one in the night but it was so... More

El Tuco hostel was our home in Cusco, we kept coming back when we returned from our trips to MP and Puno. It is a popular place so we had to change rooms each time we booked another night, but we liked all the rooms we stayed in, they are clean, spacious, with nice hot showers and comfortable beds. The... More

My friends and I stayed here for 4 nights in early March 2011. It was definitely the right choice for us. The rooms were inexpensive. There were no bunks in our room everyone had their own stand alone bed. The rooms were very clean and very secure. The hostel itself has a very good location about a 10 minute walk... More

I stayed there last year and it was really great! It's close to the plaza the armas so you can go there by foot. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the shower is great! The service is perfect and Coco and his wife are always there to help you with something. On top of that, he invites... More

This is the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are all doubles and the bathrooms in them have sparkling white tiles. Coco (the owner) contiuously comes around cleaning the kitchen and the place is spotless. Unlike a lot of of other places in Peru there is contiuous hot water, with great water pressure as well. It is... More

This family hostel is great value - the rooms are spotless and both of our double rooms (we stayed twice - before and after the Inca Trail) were a really generous size. The location is fine - an easy 10 minute walk to the square. Coco is a fantastic host and goes out of his way to help with travel... More
