The location was ok; several minutes walk from Plaza de Armas. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good with tea, coffee, bread, yoghurt and fruit juice. The kitchen is for general use but it is tiny and placed under the satirs. The place is cleaned daily but isn't the cleanest. There were roadworks going on the whole time... More

We stayed at Marlon's Hostel in Cusco for over a week. Upon arrival, they had given our room away so we had to go to another hostel for 2 nights even though our names were in the reservations book. The hostel is average but there is plenty room for improvement. The communual kitchen is tiny, the bedding was not clean... More

Marlon's had hot showers and good sized bedrooms. The breakfast was also nice in the morning with cereal, yogurt, bread, and hot drinks. However, the room we stayed in was fairly dirty upon arrival. We stayed in a Double, but luckily the room had two twin beds in it (in addition to the double bed) because the sheets on the... More

I stayed at the hostel with my girlfriend for two nights. The hostel is ok but we ran out of gas on our first night for hot showers which seemed unnecessary. The breakfast took a long time to be served despite advertised hours and this held us up on several days. Twice we handed our key in only to return... More

We ended there escaping from all the locals offering things to tourists around the Plaza de Armas. We really liked their friendliness and how accommodating they were to us departing or arriving very early/late from tours,... No matter what the time was we were always received with the best of smiles. Breakfast (jam and bread) was included and served in... More

This is a very friendly and cosy hostel. Marlon, his family and staff are extremly helpful and fair. Breakfast is very good, dorms a little bit small but privat rooms with privat bath are comfortable and offer TV with cable. Location is pretty good and his travel agency makes direct bookings for you, where ever you want to go. Thanks... More

Marlon´s House in Cusco met our needs very well. It´s location was ideal; close enough to the centre to walk to in 5 minutes, but far enough away to be out of the tourist zone. And it was just a block from the San Pedro Market with the most incredible range and prices for fresh fruit, veges, bread, cheese, yoghurt... More

The room hadn't been cleaned for a while and I was not sure what was going to move in it. While trying to get a shower (which ended up cold) I was shocked by the overhead wiring that was supposed to heat the water. Glad I made it out after one night!

The pictures do not look like the rooms. This place is a dump. The rooms on the street are extremely noisy. The furnishings are worn out . The rugs are in tatters. The one staff member there was overwhelmed by the amount of work she had to do. Both of Marlon's Houses are over-priced for what you get. Much better... More

“ I can highly recommend Marlon´s House. Only 10 minutes from plaza de Armas, very clean rooms and house full of rustical character. Marlon and his family are very friendly and helpful in any way. ”
