We were recommended to stay at Marlon's by another hostel in Nazca. We were 'greeted' at 4pm by a rude member or staff. When we enquired about Macchu Picchu we were told to ask again in the morning. We then asked for a map and directions but the lady at the desk, Elizabeth, was too busy looking at Facebook to... More

Marlon advertises the hostel as a cozy family house and it did feel that way. We stayed in a private 4 bed room with bathroom for 2 couples, and the hostel was perfect for us. The price was nice, the food decent, hot coca tea was always available, and the beds certainly had enough covers. I would certainly stay here... More

We stayed at Marlon's hostel before and after our Inca trail hike, and it was great. We stayed in a triple room, which was well furnished. There were enough blankets to keep us warm and even a TV. The breakfast was continental, but perfect for tourists acclimatizing to the altitude. The main room of the hostel is so charming, with... More

Quiet hostel in a nice old house. The dorms are dark and quiet so excellent to sleep during the day if you are partying at night. Staff are a bunch of lovely peruvian ladies. Breakfast is excellent and there is always hot water for tea 24hs. There were not too many guests when I was there so it was quiet... More

Very good price for homey hostel, enjoyed the breakfast, no issues with showers at first but then device regulating temperature of dormitory shower broke and the staff of the hostel had to regulate the temperature from outside the hostel for you

We had the pleasure of staying at marlons house for a week. We originally planned to stay here only a few days while we acclimatisedut but my girlfriend became ill so we had to extend our stay. All the staff at marlons went out of there way to ensure my girlfriend was comfortable and worry free while she recovered in... More

Marlon's House had the best price for a private room for two people. The location is good since it is a short walk to the Plaza de Armas and about 20 minutes to the airport. When we flew into Cusco, we told the hostel our flight info and Cesar picked us up at the airport at no extra charge. Our... More

Staff is very nice and friendly and can help you with all sorts of tours, tickets etc. Location is also very convenient and safe. The hostal looks cozy but the common area gets cold in the evenings and the double room we had was just too small. Showers were cold several times and staff did their very best to fix... More

We transferred from marlins house in puno to here as it was fairly simple and had enjoyed our time. There's nothing really wrong with this place for the price you pay (70 soles for a double). Decent breakfast, fairly comfortable bed, very good wifi, hot shower(must make sure boiler is on and there is gas), most staff are helpful and it... More

Nice and very friendly staff, but unfortunately the rooms are very poor and dirty. The double with private is very small and the sheets are dirty. The dorm mattresses are horrible and you have to share 1 shower and toilet with 12 persons! They are located in the room for breakfast, so very annoying in the morning. Breakfast is OK... More
