We stayed here on two occasions during our tour of Peru. One stay was unacceptable and one was adequate. The first stay in the beginning of the week included workmen hammering all night down the hall, then very loud tour guests talking right outside our rooms and some screaming in the lobby. The rooms were frigid, even with a space... More

Our group had reservations for another hotel, but the other hotel said they could not have us since the remodeling was not completed and they sent us to Koyllur Inn or whatever they call it. Some people say it is a hostel, some people say it is a hotel. We arrived and our rooms were not ready. Check in is... More

My partner and i stayed here for a few days before and after our tour of the Inca Trail. Making the additional booking here before and after the official tour dates was easy. We decided to arrive a couple of days earlier than our booking dates and arrived at the hotel and crossed our fingers. It was 8am in the... More

Just a heads up when making a reservation for Koyllur Inn. We recently took a trip to Cusco and when arriving from the airport we showed our reservation to the woman in front and I get a sorry we don't work with hotels.com and sorry we have no reservation for you. I don't know if they do the same for... More

I stayed at this inn on 2 different occasions on my group tour of Peru, I stayed 2 nights, then went to Machu Picchu and then stayed on another 2 nights. I shared a room with my friend and we had twin beds in a fairly small room, but a fairly large bathroom. The only negative I had was that... More

As the leader of a group of 14 university students from the U.S.A., I wanted to find a hotel that was close to the main plaza, included a big breakfast, had nice rooms, and was reasonably priced. Fortunately, the Koyllur Inn exceeded my expectations. The walk to the plaza takes less than ten minutes through very beautiful, old streets that... More

Like others I stayed here as part of the Intrepid Travel "Majestic Peru" trip. My first room (112) was quite cold, even with the heater and noisy due to its proximity to reception. It also had a skylight, so I was woken early by the light. My second room (206) was in a better location and much warmer. Staff were... More

We stayed here a total of four nights as part of the Intrepid Travel "Majestic Peru" trip... and found this to be just as others reviewed: cold and dark with an extremely poor location. Nights are very chilly in Cusco, and the space heaters the hotel provides are completely inadequate. Our room, in particular (Room 108), was always freezing because... More

This hotel is a good 15 minute walk, on narrow streets, and down steep, uneven roads, to the main square. Then our group leader made us walk and transport baggage down the steep road to get to our coach. Other buses stopped right at the door for pick up and delivery. Most of the staff was very kind and helpful.... More

Having spent 4 nights at this hotel as part of an Intrepid Trip i would not recommend it to anyone The rooms were dark, noisy, very cold and there was very little hot water (normally only available certain times of the day) Our first room had the worst electrics i had ever seen - the sockets were hanging off the...
