High in the hills on the outskirts of Cusco, within walking distance of Plaza de Armas and the center of action, is this nifty B&B . Carlos Delfin is the proprietor in residence. He is a gracious host having had a lot of experience in similar activities while living in New York City for many years. The bedrooms are comfortable... More

Excellent lodging with extremely friendly staff, large rooms, very nicely appointed. Makes your stay relaxing. The owner, Carlos, provides you advice and how to survive at the very high altitude and has a driver that will take you to and from the airport (free) and tours (not inexpensive, bit worth it, you can see things that are out the way.... We found Second home via reviews on trip advisor after our very poor experience at another establishment earlier in our stay in Cusco. Second home completely changed our view of Cusco! The accommodation was of a high standard with an attention to detail that we really liked. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts Carlos and his family were the most... More

We were so happy with our stay at Second Home Cusco. We had five nights and it truly was a 'second home'. Carlos was a perfect host...we miss him! The room was great...big, clean and comfortable. The location, San Blas, we perfect. Peaceful and quiet (especially compared to being near the Plaza de Armas). Thank you, Carlos!

Everything positive people say about 2nd Home Cusco is true. Carlos is a gentleman and host in the fullest sense of the words. We buzzed in and out of Cusco several times, and each time we stayed with Carlos who made us feel welcome, anticipated our needs, and hosted us with warmth and grace. The hotel is well placed, has... I stayed at Second Home Cusco for two nights. From the moment I arrived Carlos, the owner, was very kind and helpful. He lived in the US for nearly 20 years and spoke perfect English. He cooked breakfast each morning and even arranged the taxi to the airport so there was no hassle. He really made it a very at-home... More

Second Home was one of the best decision we made , Carlos the owner is an excellent host and very attentive. Carlos arranged private tours for us around Cusco and the Sacred Valley, making our stay and visit a hassle free and very relaxing experience , he even scheduled an excellent guide for us at Machu Picchu ( ask for... Great place to stay before and after the inca trail. Just far enough out of the town centre to be peaceful but close enough to the restaurants etc. We stayed in the second floor rooms and loved them. Small and quiet. Lovely friendly owner also and delicious breakfast, even when you get up at 5am to do the trail!

We just loved staying with Carlos at Second Home Cusco. It is truly a second home. We felt so comfortable, the beds were great, the bedding was so comfortable, the place was spotless and we just loved Toby the resident dog. Carlos is so accommodating, he looks after you so well when you are there. The breakfast was also excellent,... More

My 12 days in Peru included 4 nights in Lima at a VRBO in Miraflores, 6 nights at the second home B&B in the San Blas district of Cusco, one night in Aguas Claientes at the base of Machu Picchu and one night at the Airport Ramada, lima. Second Home Cusco was a great home base for my travels in... More
