With all the great reviews about Carlos, I was a little suspicious. How can someone be such a good host to so many different people? Well, I don't know, but he is fantastic! The location is great. I would only stay in San Blas again. The bread is DELICIOUS that he sources for breakfast. And I know you all want... More

Carlos was a magnificent host. I selected Second Home Cusco because it was highly reviewed on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. I traveled alone to Cusco to hike the Inca Trail. I stayed a total of 5 nights and stayed in two rooms (I returned for one night after I hiked the trail). Both rooms were great. The rooms had... More

We spent 3 nites at SecondHome Cusco and Carlos was a gracious and attentive host. Great suggestions on the sites, guides, food. Bed, bathroom, breakfast were excellent. Location in San Blas is a few blocks from the main square but it is easy to catch a ride for the return uphill. Many fine restaurants nearby. Cusco was an unexpected delight... More

As has been stated by other reviewers Carlos is indeed the ultimate host and a genuinely kind individual. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the great rooms, showers, bed linens, breakfasts.........it was all perfect. The airport transfer included in the cost is wonderful along with restaurant recommendations. We loved Second Home for the close proximity to all the sights.... More

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Second Home and our every need was taken care of by Carlos. Great breakfasts, small talk and all the information about Cusco and the Sacred Valley that one needs. Transportation, restaurants and where to get laundry done ! Carlos get a "10" as a host ! Our room turned out to be... More

This is a very charming B&B in the arty district of San Blas in Cusco. (About a 10 min walk uphill from the main square). It is close to the tourist area and many good restaurants - but at the same time - tucked away on a narrow pedestrian only street that means it is very quiet for sleeping. The... More

This was our favorite hotel from our vacation to Peru. We ended up staying here for a total of 5 nights, 2 prior to the Inca Trail treak, and three after. It was so nice coming back here after 3 nights in a tent, we knew we could look forward to our "suite" - living room, bedroom, and large bathroom,... More

We stayed 9 nights and had a great experience. The room was clean and specious, bed was very comfortable and the most important thing is that Carlos was a wonderful host. He helped us with anything we needed, gave us great recommendations for restaurant etc. This is one of the reasons we stay in homely B&Bs – to get this... More

High in the hills on the outskirts of Cusco, within walking distance of Plaza de Armas and the center of action, is this nifty B&B . Carlos Delfin is the proprietor in residence. He is a gracious host having had a lot of experience in similar activities while living in New York City for many years. The bedrooms are comfortable... More

Excellent lodging with extremely friendly staff, large rooms, very nicely appointed. Makes your stay relaxing. The owner, Carlos, provides you advice and how to survive at the very high altitude and has a driver that will take you to and from the airport (free) and tours (not inexpensive, bit worth it, you can see things that are out the way....
