The 3 of us treated ourselves well in Peru, including this hotel. We were in the Presidential Suites, and it was big, and lovely. The staffs were friendly, and helpful :) Love our stay in this hotel, love our whole experience in Peru.

Casa Cartagena, a beautifully renovated Spanish colonial house, combines the traditional structure of its past with modern decor. From the stone walls to the carved glass doors, allow yourself to immerse within the discovery of the details. With only around 16 rooms, the level and detail of service is truly impeccable. The welcome beverage--coca tea, chocolates and wafers, and warm... More

We were in Cuzco for 4 nights before our 4 days on the Inca Trail in September 2015, and our time in Casa Cartagena was amazing. The hotel was located a brief walk from the main town square and was on a charming little cobblestone side street (although to be fair, that could describe most central Cuzco hotels). Inside it... We stayed here on our way to Machu Pichu and on the way back the night before we left for the Lima airport via the Cusco airport. We were welcomed with coca tea, fresh flowers and melt-in-your-mouth chocolates, and complimentary pisco sours. The rooms were HUGE and comfortable, the bathroom spa-like, the hotel courtyard and common areas were beautiful, the... More

The view in the morning is astounding. The facilities such as the jacuzzi are good. The breakfast spread was great ( I recommend their homemade yoghurt). They even have a fireplace which really helps when it gets cold. The hotel is near the city centre and it is easy to access attractions and restaurants. Overall a really good hotel and... More

We didn't stay overnight, however we booked in two massages and had access to the whirlpool, steam room and gym at the spa. Staff was very friendly. I was not feeling well when I got there and they brought me tea, gave me a room to lie in and pushed my massage back until I was feeling better. The massages... More

The room and bathroom was beautiful and spotlessly clean; breakfast was great too, in the hotel the atmosphere is relaxed but still very efficient, a beautiful aroma in the hotel welcomes you. Will certainly stay again, highly recommend them.
