Mamasara hotel is a very good place when visiting Cusco!!! Service is good, atmosphere is also very good! Rooms are clean and very quiet! Linens are good quality and they have amazing pilows!! Got frustrated with the bathroom since tube position was very ackward and hot water not always available! Breakfast was ok! If you are planning to go in... More

We were there for 4 days and we realized that is was close enough to the center of town to walk there and back but far enough that there was no city noises at night. The service was very good, every request was met rapidly. When there was no more tea, they brought some immediately, when our friends couldn't figure... More

I really liked the Mamasara, but gotta warn folks that it can be VERY noisy. The noise is due to the very busy Calle Saphi on which the hotel is located (so asking for a room in the back may help--we stayed at another hotel on Calle Saphi and had the same road noise problem) AND the unforntunately central location... As soon as we walked in the door of this hotel we were greeted by some of the vest service ive ever experienced in a hotel on my travels. They speak very good English and have great tips. The hotels a short walk to the main square of cuzco which includes many shops and pubs. The rooms them selfs are... More

Mama Sara is a lovely clean hotel, staff are friendly & nice clean rooms. The beds maybe on the firm side & maybe you do have to run the water for awhile before it becomes hot, but hey you're on holiday. It is only a short walk into the interesting parts of Cusco, restaurants, historical buildings etc.....

Arranged by our tour operator but very disappointing hotel of our whole trip we were in Peru travelling around for 10 days. Bedrooms clean but bed mattresses were very firm. Shower had to be run at least 5 minutes to get hot water through, bathrooms are tired and need upgrading. Sort of British Premier Inn class but a bit lower... More

This accommodation was organised by our tour operator & I couldn't have been happier. Our room was on the ground floor. The staff were friendly & willing to help in any way. There was an initial problem with hot water but it was available any other time we tried for it. There is no restaurant on site but it is... More

This hotel is a short walk into the interesting parts of Cusco. We stayed there three nights and albeit the hotel was very clean and provided us a warm welcome with coca leaf tea, there were some disappointing aspects to our stay: - our room (201) was noisy due to the road, and a twin share. When my husband and... More

Near the Plaza de Los Armes and important sites, but not crazy expensive. Comfortable rooms, ok breakfast. When we left to go to Machu Picchu, hotel staff let us leave most of our luggage in the room, which they moved to storage while awaiting our return--and luggage in the new room when we returned. Couldn't ask for better service or... More

It's close enough to the plaza de Armas to go walking, and distant enough to be quiet in the night. We had to ask for hot water sometimes, and only ones it was barely tepid. Rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly.
