I stayed here a couple of days before and after my trip to Machu Picchu. The staff was wonderful, and the breakfast was good. The hostel is located in San Blas, which is very close to the Plaza de Armas. The rooms I stayed in were very small not much more room then the beds. The beds come with many... More

I have stayed here twice: for about 3 weeks one trip, and for about 4 weeks the second trip (both visits included some side trips to sacred valley ect, but were mostly in Cusco). Both visits have been amazing. The staff is super friendly and fun, and always have good recommendations for local activities. I also always meet the most... More

I was recommended Casa de la Gringa as it's owner Lesley us a shaman. She wasn't there do I had no guidance on whether I should consider taking the San Pedro healing treatment . Breakfast was wonderful, I would have liked more English capability as I found it difficult to communicate . Didn't get much info about traditional tourist stuff.... More

I was recommended to stay in Casa de la Gringa when I was looking for an inexpensive hostel, good travel agent, and a spiritual healing center in Cusco. Glad I followed the advice, because all three came in perfect package here. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the staffs are effective and flexible, the travel plans as well as healing events... More

My stay at Casa de La Gringa was just wonderful. I arrived from the night bus from Puno in the early and cold hours of the morning, my bed was available so I was shown to my room in the Anexo straight away - it was heaven to be able to crawl into a warm bed at that time. The... More

Beautiful hostel, tucked into a quiet side street a few minutes walk away from Plaza de las Armas. It was a hippie's paradise ~ a small open smoking area with a gas stove for warmth, long bench style tables in the entrance kitchen area for shared breakfasts, with hot tea and coffee served free all day, communal living room w/... Very cool, relaxed hostel with a hippy vibe. Good price for budget travellers and a great spot to chill out in. They have a little patio to drink Coca tea and smoke. They also have a nice little tv room with lots of DVDs. The rooms have funky names and decor and are well laid out. Highly recommend.
