We stayed here twice in two different rooms. The first was in another part across the street and the second in the main part. Rooms were Good , cold at night but lots of blankets provided. Breakfast was also good choice of fruit salad or eggs, with bread and jam too. Free tea 24/7 and coffee at breakfast if requested.... More

We stayed here for 6 nights recently and had a friendly greeting from the night shift man ! The location in San Blas is great (great restaurants and bars around) and you feel very safe. Beds are comfy and sufficient blankets are given to keep you toasty! Breakfast is good - a choice of fruit salad or eggs with bread... More

This place is tucked into the pleasant heights of the San Blas neighborhood; a short & safe 10 minute hike to the central plaza (Plaza de Armas). I stayed in the "Gypsy Room" which has a private en suite WC with Shower. For basic accommodation I found it be priced just right (a good deal). My room was clean and... More

I stayed here a couple of days before and after my trip to Machu Picchu. The staff was wonderful, and the breakfast was good. The hostel is located in San Blas, which is very close to the Plaza de Armas. The rooms I stayed in were very small not much more room then the beds. The beds come with many... More

I have stayed here twice: for about 3 weeks one trip, and for about 4 weeks the second trip (both visits included some side trips to sacred valley ect, but were mostly in Cusco). Both visits have been amazing. The staff is super friendly and fun, and always have good recommendations for local activities. I also always meet the most... More

I was recommended Casa de la Gringa as it's owner Lesley us a shaman. She wasn't there do I had no guidance on whether I should consider taking the San Pedro healing treatment . Breakfast was wonderful, I would have liked more English capability as I found it difficult to communicate . Didn't get much info about traditional tourist stuff.... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

I was recommended to stay in Casa de la Gringa when I was looking for an inexpensive hostel, good travel agent, and a spiritual healing center in Cusco. Glad I followed the advice, because all three came in perfect package here. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the staffs are effective and flexible, the travel plans as well as healing events... More

My stay at Casa de La Gringa was just wonderful. I arrived from the night bus from Puno in the early and cold hours of the morning, my bed was available so I was shown to my room in the Anexo straight away - it was heaven to be able to crawl into a warm bed at that time. The... More
